For the new 'Axis of Evil', the United States and Israel. Pay-back is going to be such a bitch.

How's the weather on your planet? I guess it must be raining all the time.

The BBS has an ignore button however most don't use it, preferring to complain about the poster on a daily basis. If they did use it no one would be posting. Edited by Badger11 (15 May 2024 9.27am) I don’t use the BBS and rarely ever even visit the site. Not because of the content but because of the style.
For the avoidance of doubt any comments in response to a previous post are directed to its ideas and not at any, or all, posters personally. |

So Hamas have been fibbing. Why am I not surprised that posters on here believed them ?

I think it's your self righteous narcissism that offends everyone else, but I do respect your right to post counterpoints, even if you often just argue for argument’s sake. If you were chucked out, this place would be no better than the other site. That’s obviously untrue as, although I might offend the back scratching band of the regressive right who dominate this section, they aren’t “everyone” here let alone elsewhere. I argue when I disagree. Usually here, with politically distasteful statements.

If I had any doubt about the conflict in the middle east of the years then the atrocious attack on October 7th by the terrorists hamas cleared that up for me.

The United States and Israel, or western governments supplying arms, cannot cover this up. In 1948 there was no technology, nor appetite, for the world to see the displacement of the Palestinians. Nakba, remembered today in occupied Palestine 76 years ago, they have been brutally occupied ever since. Today we can turn on our phones, laptops and see for ourselves, tune to Aljazeera (Freeview 235), or youtube etc. In 1948 the West would have been justly confident post-war and assured they were 'morally right', but with their action in supporting this appalling genocide, in plain view they have surrendered any such assumed right. They could actually have given Hamas a moral ascendancy The world's largest terrorist organisation, new shipments of bombs to Israel today, is the United States of America.

In a lot of people's minds, you're probably right. Unless you're a Muslim I'm not entirely sure it's anything to be celebrated. In Ireland there is an internet portal from Dublin to New York. It has had to be closed intermittently for, amongst other things, people goading Americans about 9/11. That sounds like the sort of thing you're talking about. I'd have to presume you believe they deserved it. An eye for an eye and all that. I prefer the US as an ally personally but I guess we can all swap to Iran or Saudi Arabia as they obviously hold the moral high ground.

Sorry to respond to serious points with this but wasn't that portal closed because a rather attractive American woman flashed her threepenny bits?
