I have it on good authority that the BBC's Director General is an avid reader of this site and posts under a pseudonym. I have no doubt he is very grateful for your pearls of wisdom and will be giving them due consideration. So he should. The BBC has been a Left wing enclave for too long. BBC employees are entitled to their opinions, but they need to keep them to themsleves.

His bosses would probably be very interested in seeing the stuff he's said on here, for sure. spoken like a true BBS bully. Trot off then. We got freedom of speech on HOL. if we wish to call Linekar a jug-eared Marxist Neo-Liberal commie git......then so be it.

Honesty, I thought Crystal Palace was one of the more liberal clubs due to the multicultural nature of South East London but its very hard right judging by this forum. Disgusting. And deeply disappointing. Have a look at the BBS which normally has ten times the number of active posters online at any one time as HOL and you will see that the majority of the posters seem to be to the left of Jeremy Corbyn and everything is the fault of this Tory government, probably even our loss to Manchester City

Media claiming today the BBC will back down which I believe will be a failure of management. This story has moved on from what Lineker meant in his post to who runs the BBC, I expect the answer will be Gary and his football chums. You reap what you sow, more ammunition for the opponents of the licence fee.

Lineker knew his post would cause a furore, and he has been previously warned. The DG is a Tory donor, a person Lineker would not like one little bit. His mates ( possibly all anti-Govt) have rallied round. Might be wide of the mark but not beyond realms of possibility

He's smart enough to parlay a certain perceived amiability and the ability to ask his mates a few obvious questions into a job which makes him the BBCs highest paid employee and flies him round the world watching football matches.

They shouldn't forget that there is far more to the BBC than it's sports department, and the far bigger and wider entertainment industry comprises a very large Jewish contingency who will not have been impressed by Lineker's analogy...

I am sure it will make no difference but I have emailed the BBC with my ten pence worth - get rid of the man - and if his mates want to follow him then tell them where to go as well!

So considering that Mark Chapman and all the paid pundits walked out in solidarity must mean they are all left wing Marxists as well? I would be interested to hear from the anti Lineker brigade what right wing football pundits they would like to see presenting MOTD.
