[Tweet Link] Would hope that isn't true. From his earlier comments, it sounds like the brother is trying to leverage the fans in putting pressure on the club to take Zaha's point of view. If this is true, Zaha and his brother would do very well to remember that the club comes first and his idea about him being 'loved' can turn very, very fast. Take Freedman as an example. He knows his market value, and the club aren't going to be mugged of their spending power to do him a favour. He'd be nowhere without the club, so I'd say we're even presently. If Arsenal bid the money, then good luck to him. If they don't, that's their problem, not ours.

The quotes from Wilf's brother being a prime example. What planet is he residing on if he thinks Palace should sell Zaha for perhaps half his value as some sort of loyalty reward so he can fulfil his '' dream '' of playing for Arsenal ! Financially, I don't think Arsenal have anywhere to go with this unless they have a major rethink, and even then I can't see them coughing up £80m

Will those Arsenal players in the deal if that’s the way it goes want to come to us is another thing ?
The club need to hard ball this. We cannot be pushed over here. We owe Arsenal and Zaha absolutely nothing.

Or £70 million + Jenkinson ... We won't get 80 million off anyone for him. Sad but true ...

He's always done right by us and I'd rather give him the benefit of the doubt over a few comments from his brother and some div off Sky Sports. He does deserve his chance at the top level but we deserve to get as close to the asking price we have put on his head. I do think that he could do better than Arsenal. I do wonder if Spurs sold Erikson this window, whether they would use the money for Zaha as they seem to be wrapping up Ndombele and it might be too soon for Clarke.
