oh come on get with the times, we need to spend at least a million on gender neutral toilets and what about cycle bays? then there's the gluten free burger buns and snickers bars without nuts, that's a few thousand easily explained away, and you think it's all being syphoned off into free lunches and brown envelopes - you tired, cynical old b*gger you. the gluten free, sometimes it's not a life choice.

Croydon council make me laugh... Holding up what can only be described as a positive for the borough with our stadium redevelopment, meanwhile Croydon town centre is literally a ghost town and total s*** hole!!
Don't waste your time with jealousy. Sometimes your ahead, sometimes your behind, the race is long. But in the end it's only with yourself!! |

I am hoping somebody who has followed the stadium saga more closely than I can give us a brief summary what obstacles are left before they can break ground?

Whilst everyone concentrates on the US elections no one pays any attention to local politics leaving them completely unaccountable. Parish mentioned that the stand was meant to bring in an extra £15m a year in revenue. Quick an pretty dodgy maths would say that's £3m VAT a year. So in trying to capture £1m they've missed out on £6m in government revenues. I know it doesn't really work like that - but it seems counter productive.

Thanks so have we sorted out Sainsibury? No. Still negotiating. Then there is the purchase and rehousing process. So many stakeholders, people constantly harp about ‘why is it taking so long’ ‘it’ll never happen’ These sort of things take years as it is, let alone when you have as many 3rd parties involved as this does. Councils. Sainsbury’s. Residents. The mayor. TFL. Etc etc etc
Did you know? 98.0000001% of people are morons. |
