This government have made a total clusterfck of it and where we are already has caused irreparable damage, wherever we end up now. I agree with you that it not being carried through represents a miscarriage of democracy; and I am loathe to be on politicians’ side, but the majority of the dissenters have been doing so because it’s what they think is in the country’s best long term interests. This decision today is because the government have acted illegally. We have a proud and historic judicial and parliamentary system which stops the government acting beyond the reach of the law. If the government are allowed to act above the law we are entering the realms of a dictatorship. The law is there for a reason. No one has yet addressed my earlier point about the prorogue of Parliament being given as not being about Brexit and to give the new PM time to establish policy before the Queen’s Speech. This whole entire reaction just proves the unanimous decision today was correct.

His should be the first, of many, heads that should roll.

Also, not ‘accused’ any more. They HAVE acted illegally, as ruled by the highest court in the country.

Everyone gets a tenner an hour minimum. Big companies will give 10% value to the staff in share holdings. Private schools will be stripped of their assets. All wealth will be forcibly taken and evenly distributed. And everyone will be equal. Boris proroging parliament will pale into insignificance with the forthcoming utopian society we are being promised. Ahhh life will be so stress free. Bring on the GE so I can chill baby.

The courts have literally said an act she approved was illegal....they have stepped into the political sphere....So now so should the Queen.

The session brought to an end was one of the longest in parliamentary history.

A general election will kick out these weasels.

Also, if not, then you believe that Boris has literally lied to the Queen. Heads have literally rolled for less in the past.
