I will stick with your. You made a post, its yours and the image you chose to post was not a celebration of the team as you assert, it cannot be - There were no white players in the image. Would you be happy if the image was reversed to only highlight white players and white lives matter? As I pointed out I am perplexed to why anybody would choose to post such, your motives, the image creator, those who share it I would suggest are to be divisive. For sake of humouring a ridiculous scenario. Why would there be a need for a white lives matter cause, in this country? Celebrating diversity and multiculturalism isn't divisive. The image depicts that Black Lives really do Matter, to the England team, which is the whole point of the last 50 pages or so of "debate". My point wasn't to suggest that the black players are better or of more importance to the team, but that they, as part of a diverse and multicultural England side are the backbone of the most successful England team of my lifetime. Which makes me proud to be a black, Englishman. The "what ifs" is just so weird man, black people make up a very small minority in this country and there isn't a comparison. And it's coming home.

A bunch of pampered sportsmen showing how woke they are by kneeling to a movement they obviously don't understand.

Actually if the England team was all white then BLM would have a point. However seeing as so many talented players are black and playing at the highest level suggests that the only barriers in this country are talent or lack of it.

I don’t think anyone on here has said they are not an integral and important part of the team, anyone who says otherwise knows nothing about football. As far as I can see this was not up for debate and I can see no reason for the need to post what you did, unless you were intent on being antagonistic

The image doesn't outrage me because I'm not a bigot. So why would I ask or care for it's origin? It's celebrating the black contribution to this England team despite a vocal minority or people opposing a gesture for racial equality. A group of friends, obviously. The gesture is political. Mart luth King started the kneeling. The fist was black power or black panthers whichever floats your boat.. Facts are stranger than your belief I'm afraid.

Do you remember in the 80s when the West Indies ruled cricket? There was a news item on the BBC asking why their pace bowlers were so lethal and one suggestion was that West Indians had thin pelvises, which gave them more body flexibility.
Nearly as silly as black people blaming bone density for not being able to swim. Elephants can swim by the way.

That again is not an answer to the question ... Your image was not diverse ... So with respect could you answer this question. Would you be happy if the image was reversed to only highlight white players and white lives matter? In regards to the England team your question is odd. Why would there be need for an image of the England team being all white and using white lives matter! The team is based on the ability of individuals, their superiority as footballers not skin colour.

It's a group identity via my genetics. I'm a northern European who is culturally English. That means something to me because it's physically concrete, unlike your conceptual post racial wishful thinking. The 'white supremacy' stuff is yet another example of the left using language designed to demonise identity for Europeans, deliberately ignored for other races. Embarrassingly some conservatives buy into it as they want to be accepted by the left but its fantasy language designed to create enemies that never existed before. Intrinsically amongst other motivations, it's to rob English descendants to the historical ownership of the land beneath their feet. It succeeded, due to past inaction and it is already set.
