I would just like to point out that it's not always the standard of a club's keeper that puts them in trouble. ie Stoke - GK Jack Butland (England squad) All the above are excellent keepers and most here would be happy with any one of them in our goal.

It all comes back to his main problem that he's a shrinking violet who fails to make use of his commanding height. Crosses should be his meat and drink, not his kryptonite.
We don't do possession; we do defense and attack. Everything else is just wa**ing with a football. |

It's more down to FdB f***ing us up, plus s***e defending at times and injuries to Wilf and Benteke. Class goal keepers do not always mean that the teams will be in the top half of the league.

Well done Big Wayne. The first Palace keeper to keep a clean sheet against Man City since Nigel Martyn in 1993.

WH done what was needed today but he does not command his area. He is tall so he should be coming out to make punches or catches and drive the defence out to clear the decks. He needs to open his mouth and shout more. All credit to all the team and it was nice to see PVA have a good game along with Fosu-Mwnsah whom we must sign. Got the get a younger keeper in to,start acting as the long term propsect and i pin my hat on Butland. Well done Roy it was great to watch us play with spirit and confidence and got stuck in when needed. Just remind them how to take penalties. Hit it hard hit it fast hit the net.

Great choice by Roy. Jules had played well and done nothing to be dropped apart from his ropey booting...However, WH's kicking was vital in order to pick out the forwards and frustrate the Arse. Well done both! Showed Roy's tactics are great and Wayne is deserving of credit. Do you think a certain poster will unwrap the humble pie?...
