I actually don't care if he goes for £40m, it makes that 25% worth less to United. Arsenal's issue is that they need to find £40m worth of players to send us to make up the other half. Good luck with that. Maitland-Niles, Reiss Nelson, and £40m and I'd start listening. I don’t think it works like that. Zaha would be a price and so would the others, or there’d be manipulation of sell on fees.

They haven’t got Champions League and won’t be getting it any time soon plus they can’t afford our price. At their offer we would only bank £30 million which compared to our Premiership status is paltry. If Wilf had made a deal with Parish to let him move then he should’ve got a sell on clause in the last contract.

They compared it to Arsenal shopping in a 1980’s Freeman’s catalogue or on eBay where there’s no other bids. They then brought up the Suarez bid that hit them on the Arsenal. Remind me of that one. Didn’t they bid £1 over the buyout clause and then Barcelona came in and they lost out? Arsenal are a has been club up that end of the table with their owner. Their fans are embarrassed and expect to be disappointed.

Ozil looks like a deadweight they are stuck with If they are on a low budget, the money has to be spent on their defence. They have just had their two worst years conceding goals in the Premier League season and have a backline which regularly featured 30+ year olds in Koscielny, Sokratis and Monreal. Mustafi is a joke and Bellerin an injury doubt The way they folded at the end of the season suggests to me they are in for a long year ahead

I did say I expected this to happen, however, I expected it to be with a higher bid than £40 mil. This should make it easier to tell Wilf’s brother to shut up because he’s embarrassing himself and Wilf and Arsenal to get real. It won’t stop the bids rising though. The question however is at what price does the pressure, stropping and media intensity become valid and can Arsenal get to that price. I don’t think they will, and it’ll mean Parish and Wilf’s brother have a bit of a fall out. Rumours already that Parish is refusing to speak or deal with Arsenal due to the low bid. Time for the Palace PR machine to embarrass the Arsenal board. I’m not sure Zaha was aware of the size of bid if he even knew this piece by his brother was going to print. Edited by Rudi Hedman (01 Jul 2019 11.34pm) We have PR
“That’s a joke son, I say, that’s a joke.” “Nice boy, but he’s sharp as a throw pillow.” “He’s so dumb he thinks a Mexican border pays rent” “ “Son… I say, son, some people are so narrow minded they can look through a keyhole with both eyes.”__ Forhorn Leghorn |

I don’t think it works like that. Zaha would be a price and so would the others, or there’d be manipulation of sell on fees. It does work like that. Player prices are subjective so sell on fees generally only apply to the cash portion. Theoretically if it was a pure player swap deal then United would get nothing.

This post has been merged from a topic called 'The Wilfried Zaha Thread' by Midlands Eagle This post has been merged from a topic called 'Zaha wants out' by Midlands Eagle Apparently not only did they only offer 40m but they wanted to stagger payments over 5 years! It becomes more of a joke by the minute. Wilf may be a fan but surely that would mean he recognises what a joke of a club they are becoming? A few days ago I was worried Arsenal might have more money than is being claimed, but if this offer is true then unless they do sell one of their stars they clearly do not. If they did have the money for a reasonable offer then this would be one way to ensure Parish takes an even tougher stance. I hope Parish goes back and tells them the price is now £120m.

Time for the Palace PR machine to embarrass the Arsenal board. Simon Jordan has already put the boor in to the Arsenal board claiming that they have champagne tastes but only beer money and it seems that the Arsenal fans are complaining bitterly about their own club's embarrassing behaviour

This post has been merged from a topic called 'The Wilfried Zaha Thread' by Midlands Eagle This post has been merged from a topic called 'Zaha wants out' by Midlands Eagle Arsenal are an embarrassment. Charge their fans top dollar whilst trying to buy Wilf with a ridiculously low offer. The move to the Emirates truly f****d them over, what a pity

Its not what Zaha wants that is important it whats important to the club. Its £80 million or shut the door on the way out. If Zaha wants to down tools, thats fine just buy someone like Allan Saint-Maximin for £25 million and stick Zaha in the reserves until he sees sense Correct.
