I remember going to the 4-1 against West Ham and I think the Chelsea one was a pre-season friendly in about 1967 or 68.

sorry, stand corrected. 28th July 1969 and we lost 2-0. The following year we lost there again 2-0 this time against Arsenal. As far as I can see that was the last time the first team played there although I think the reserves may have played a few games probably in the nineties.

Didn't the reserves - when such things existed play at the National Sports Stadium in the 80's (or possibly even 90)

Building construction #CPFC have edged ever-closer to the redevelopment of Selhurst Park after the Mayor of London approved a deal worth up to £1 million between the club & Croydon Council over the cost of community improvements.

Still obstacles to overcome but progress.

I'm confused. Why are you lying?
I now live in Crawley as my wife is from here and her late father used to run the boxing club. Her trained Alan Minter who was born and bred in Langley Green (a Crawley neighbourhood), She knew Sharon Davis through friends that went to school with her and Daley Thompson was from Gossops Green (another Crawley neighbourhood) as my wife and my sister in law know his life long friend that he went to school with. In CRAWLEY.
Jeez, why are there so many know it alls (THAT KNOW NOTHING!)

By the way, I'll ask Alan's brother Micky who I often bump into around Crawley. My father in law trained him too. His Dad Sid Minter is from Ireland and settled in Crawley in the 40s.
