I can see you feel strongly about this. In fairness I didn't mention Turkey originally. I just said a number of other countries could join. I will not claim to know how long it will take Turkey to join the EU but whether they do or not within a few decades is by no means a deciding factor for me in voting leave. I have more fundamental reasons. Fair enough, your entitled to your views. I'm just trying to highlight how absurd the reality of Turkey joining the EU is. And you have to question why it's even been such a big issue.

I have never said that. I would think that suppressed wages, housing shortages and inflated house prices, competition for jobs and the easier manipulation of an ever increasingly centralised Europe would be good reasons for you. Not to mention the Nationalisation angle or workers rights. Take your pick. Well all of the reasons you've given are consequences of Tory policy. Any others?

Well that is the nature of the campaign. Both sides are using everything they can find, understandably. This is a key decision and winning votes is all important.

Except, and this is my biggest fear about leaving,we'll probably be left with Dave the Cund gone. Bj as pm with Gove et al as a government with no manifesto... I haven't voted Labour since I was a spotty teenager, and that was a very long time ago. However, if BJ and Gove get anywhere near holding office I will again, despite the fact that I rate Corbyn, and his crew, as being very bad news for us. I cannot stand right wing politics and the idea of that lot having their hands on the tiller frightens me to death. Especially Gove, who I regard as a supreme example of everything which is wrong with politicians.

If you would vote for Corbyn over anyone then your credibility has just been reduced to less than zero. A return to the 1970's. No thanks.

Let's have something other than anti intellectualistic answer from you mr the Ganger. What don't you like about Corbyn;'s policies? Many of which people of all political hues agree with.

I would certainly hope that the Labour party come to their senses and find another leader more acceptable to moderate opinion. I see the Conservative party splitting after tomorrow. I also see the possibility of a grand coalition between the Remain side of the Tories and the moderate wing of the Labour party, if we do suffer a "Leave" vote. That way the moderate politicians could ensure we handle things as smoothly as possible, in what will be very difficult circumstances. Neither do I totally rule out a new offer being made by the EU, offering some form of modified, associate, membership which could then be put to the country in a follow up referendum. All the hot air, about this being the "final" deal may evaporate if the reality strikes. I hope we don't go collectively crazy, but if we do we still must hope that our parliament has enough balls to rescue us from our stupidity. They should not have allowed this to happen in the first place, and it only has to quieten, for ever, the right wing of the Conservative party. It has all gone horribly wrong so now it ought to fall to them to deal with it, even if doing so is effective political suicide.

Corbyn is unacceptable to most and Gove and Osborne are not my favorite Tories.
