No one seem to be having a go at Schlupp for missing a one to one , with no other player about or was that also good position by the goalkeeper .

But Schlupp contributes far more than Benteke does. He puts in effort and while his skills aren't great it often pays off in the end. One miss from him can be forgiven (especially after setting up the first goal).

People saying about is confidence being low need to realise he is also just plain lazy, Cameron Jerome was far from clinical but I always respected his work-rate, plus he had decent pace. Benteke is being paid £120K a week for sometimes heading away corners (doesn't even have to mark anyone) and being tall.

I have said it before and I will say it again.

Benteke is completely finished.

Ruined by the wrong system, confidence issues and injuries. He will never succeed at this club.

Trump lost. Badly. Hahahahahahaha.

You forgot to add "attitude" to your list.

I had patience with Benteke last season and put it down to a confidence issue with a player who is being played in the wrong system but I have to say, Jordan Ayew is making him look bang average. Ayew comes off the pitch and he can barely move coz he's worked so hard. Benteke comes off and he's barely sweating, it's embarrassing. Contract is finished at the end of this season and his time is up. Get rid in January for £10m and invest that money into a young championship striker who is hungry to succeed.

Here we are nearly 10 months on and still facing the dilemma of who can score goals.
Against WW we were wasteful and woeful. This can't go on, waiting for this out of form striker to regain his form is not on, Championship beckons and Benteke will be off to China on yet another big salary.
We've got a half decent mid fielder keeping the bench warm, sure this is the time for Roy to introduce new blood.
Giving away a last minute goal and playing against 10 men is the woeful part of my missive.
I still can't get my head around why we never bought a couple of forwards during the transfer window. Something is wrong in the way this club is being managed, the priority was forwards and we end up with more mid fielders who have hardly played a game since being here.
Alright, we are in a better position than this time last season but my gut reaction is that Man C and a few other teams that we have to play, will get into double figures with goals against sooner rather than later!!!
I am so sad for a club I have supported man and boy for 58 years.

He has had many more than that over the last couple of years and has failed, he is a donkey, he has no value, he costs us week in and week out, the worst buy ever for this club, we should fire him for lack of performance!

Bang average is being highly complimentary.

Benteke reminds me of this kid who used to play in our team at U-13 level. Totally useless, afraid of the ball, afraid of opponents, but the manager had to give him half an hour each weekend and we did our best to encourage him whenever he got anywhere near the ball. The difference being that Benteke is a professional on £120k p/w. Taking the f***ing piss.

As bad as it sounds I hope he gets injured so we can just forget about him getting a run. He is bringing nothing but negativity to the team and you can see that the players don,t trust him and don’t want to give him the ball.

Maybe we could get one of the Youths to clog him, might get insurance money as well

Only 12 months left on his contract his value has dropped very sad it hasn't worked out. But these things happen to Palace.
