I'm fuming This is scandelous Doesn't he realised he's ruined a potential Gold Talk thread Hope the cherries servers go bust

Still got to be bound for Gold Talk, with so many people making utter t***s of themselves on a repeated basis.

If it has taken him this long to decide how long would it have taken him to decide which players to buy.

........................Then along came Johnny Byrne! and the rest, as they say, is history.....................

Sorry you guys feel you've been a bit pissed around by Eddie. I seriously don't think that was his intention, just that the sheer force of everyone at Bournemouth wanting him to stay was too much for him.

I wish you all the very best and will be keeping an eye out for how you're getting on. You were the only one of the sides in for him that I would have accepted him going to as it genuinely sounds like you could build something exciting with your new owners.

P.S. I haven't posted similar on any of the Charlton boards. I would have been more gutted than a gutted thing if he'd gone to them

Congratulations on keeping your boss and best of luck with getting up. Make sure you leave a certain plastic bunch of losers in your wake, if you would be so kind. If you could also ruin the South Coast chancers at the top, it would be much appreciated.

I want the Weed to go up (assuming we stay up), would be nice to beat the faggots 5-0 again!!

Fair play to him for staying. I don't think he wanted to mess anyone around either, was obviously a massive decision for him. Don't think a lot of our fans understand just how strong the bond is between Howe and AFCB. Hope you lot come up now.

I recon the Bournemouth chairman has had a punt at pretty reasonable odds to pay that messers wages for the next year

To be fair, a potentially talented manager took his time to make sure that he made the right decision for himself. Charlton/Burnley/CPFC were the parties that had a problem... ie no manager....Before the approaches he was happily managing AFCB.... I'd have been somewhat suspicious if he'd jumped ship without making sure in his own mind of the decision.

Good luck to him.

Am I upsetting the balance Hambo?should I just let them get on with it?Gold talk has standards and I'm a bit worried my intervention may tarnish its potential.

Agree with this 100% - I don't feel anything other than disappointment. He's made a very honourble decision and had every right to consider all his options first.

At some point, I'm sure he'll leave (kind of hope I'm wrong, but let's be realistic). I hope that he takes you up this season and we play each other next season - would be superb.

Congratulations on keeping him. I sincerely hope that our board have been truthful when saying that they have other options at advanced stages of negotiation.

All the best for the rest of the season and beyond.

Obviously this is all about money than anything else.

Why would you take this long to decide otherwise.

could be a blessing in disguise putting so much faith in a manager of a currently over achieving team with no experience of a very tough division may have backfired anyway! if you are feeling gutted just think how gutted you'd have felt if we had of got him and still got relegated, imagine the stick from the clowns then!
