I see that it has gone a bit quiet on CPFC2010 front...

Give us fans some form of update so that we know something is going on backstage. Coming from the lower league, I am quite pleased that we havent got him as our next boss because he isnt proven but how do we not look more appealing than Bournemouth?!

Big worry.

My thoughts exactly!

What are you guys on?it's been 5 minutes, whether CPFC2010 have someone lined up or not, they don't have to tell us a bloody thing!Atleast wait for the bleeding dust to settle!jeeeeesh

Good luck to Eddie and Bournemouth. They are clearly made for each other. I do admire his loyalty. However, surely there was no need for it all to take this long? He is indecisive at best or manipulative. I really believe it is his loss not ours.

On wards and upwards! Let's get someone in who really wants the job. I'm for Dougie until the end of the season at least.

I think he has played the game well here. Getting an improved contract to stay in the same job. Loyalty does not come into it, in my opinion.

If Dougie did what he'd done for them, for us(and was in a similar league position)do you think he would go to errr West Ham?there's your answer...

Honestly, I think he would have to consider it.

Didnt Steve Bruce leaves us for Birmingham City, or am I wrong?

Of course he'd consider it,like Howe did us.

Errrr even with my limited Palace history i'm pretty sure Bruce had no affiliation to us prior to taking charge.no parallels what so ever.

Sorry you guys feel you've been a bit pissed around by Eddie. I seriously don't think that was his intention, just that the sheer force of everyone at Bournemouth wanting him to stay was too much for him.

I wish you all the very best and will be keeping an eye out for how you're getting on. You were the only one of the sides in for him that I would have accepted him going to as it genuinely sounds like you could build something exciting with your new owners.

P.S. I haven't posted similar on any of the Charlton boards. I would have been more gutted than a gutted thing if he'd gone to them

Congratulations on keeping your boss and best of luck with getting up. Make sure you leave a certain plastic bunch of losers in your wake, if you would be so kind. If you could also ruin the South Coast chancers at the top, it would be much appreciated.

Yes I am dissapointed that Howe isnt coming to Selhurst .
However , I think we should all respect one of the few people in the game with an ounce of loyalty.
How many times have we lost players etc when a bigger club start showing an interest .. Wright , Routledge , Bostock etc and how pissed off and let down did we feel.
Good luck to Howe and Bournemouth and their fans !

Now I beleive we should give Dougie some backing and offer him the job til the end of the season
