I have both scanned it and read a detailed summary. I can find nothing that even comes close to supporting the claims that you made. However as you claim to have read it all let's test that. I am not claiming to. I am challenging you to prove you have because from the tone of your replies I suspect that claim is bs. If what you claim is there then point out where. You have read it! It cannot be difficult. If you cannot do that, or try to find an excuse as to why you won't, I will assume, with some justification, that my suspicions are correct. Why is then other people have read the whole thing and come up with similar to what I have said. It is not hard to see that you come back with BS every time someone posts something that you do not agree with or do not understand. I think it boils down to the fact you are a very argumentative person and can only see YOUR side of any story. If you think I am going to keep answering your BS posts then think again as I have better things to do on match day than that. What I put originally was the easy way to put into words the treaty for people like you that just cannot digest big words or technical language or even bother to read something but instead dispute someone else's post.
Supported Palace for over 69 years since the age of 7 and have seen all the ups and downs and will probably see many more ups and downs before I go up to the big football club in the sky. |

The problem is nothing of the sort. It's not "Labour Remainers" at all. It's Parliament as a whole not being satisfied that the arrangements so far negotiated on how we exit provide us all with a safe and secure way to do so. The problem is that we now have a government which refuses to acknowledge that. What happens beyond that is an open question. The 2016 referendum is now history. That some, like you, believe it's consequences mean we must leave the EU whatever the method or cost, is not shared by everyone. Whether you constitute a majority will probably have to be determined at some time. Why cant we have an ignore button on here??

As I expected. You cannot back up your bs in anyway so you just resort to trying to insult me. I rest my case as I most certainly have better things to do that waste my time with the likes of you.

Well I didn't mention the Lisbon Treaty.....As far as I'm concerned each treaty since Maastricht has seen unacceptable sovereign powers given away to foreign bodies without the mandate of the public. The relevant point is that everything there certainly will happen if we don't leave.....What difference does it make which treaty includes what? Like arguing over which log goes into the fire first. You entered an exchange specifically about the Lisbon treaty and supposedly what it meant. If that’s your prediction of how things would play out, fine, but don’t dress it up as ‘I read the Lisbon treaty and this is what it said’ because it’s conpletely disingenuous - that’s what I was calling out. It’s some bulls*** copy and paste job from Facebook - no idea why you’re trying to defend it.

Why cant we have an ignore button on here?? Totally unnecessary. The choice over whether to read or not, and whether to respond or not, already lies entirely in your own hands. I already "ignore" another poster here whose comments are always so clearly loaded with bias as to make me worry about his state of mind.

Of course it was. Also, I’d bet considerable money you haven’t read the over 3000 pages of the Lisbon Treaty, so I’d suggest you should stop making that claim (no, I haven’t read it either, but then I don’t feel the need to pretend that I have).
