Much like most wouldn’t when Wayne made a much bigger f*ck up with Dann. And againstthe one against Villa and the one where he threw it over his own head in the cup. And the biggest f*ck up in his career to date, signing for CPFC. Unfortunately, that f*ck up was on our own part. He’s had an absolute squeeze from it earning a lovely bit of wedge whilst being nothing short of abysmal. Sorry mate, Speroni's error was much worse than anything Hennessey has done .

Maybe not. But I can rest assured that I’ve backed a legend that has done more for our club on the pitch than most Palace players ever have and ever will. You’ve stuck up for a player that will be remembered for being terrible and will be referenced as such for years to come. Well done buddy, one hell of a Palace fan you are. I'm with you on this one B-G.

The other f*ck up he made of which he did another very similar involved Dann when he came charging out of goal for the ball which he was well in pole position to get to and put his foot through. This made Dann stop chasing as he saw that Calamity had it covered. Calamity then saw the opponents(I forget who they were) attacker running for the ball, he shat it, froze, then started to retreat. A much bigger f*** up than Jules completing a pass to a normally reliable and competent defender in Dann.

You haven't got a bleddy clue have you? You now insult some of the Palace greats like Johnny Byrne, John Jackson, Jim Cannon, Terry Long, Ian Wright, Cliff Holton, Nigel Martyn, Bill Glazier etc who have all contributed to the Palace cause just as much, if not more, than Jules. All I've ever done regarding WH is stick up for him when the likes of you and others have been totally unfair and OTT when slagging him off. You blame him for every goal he concedes which is total bulls***e. Lastly, and I hate doing this because I have never considered myself a better fan than anyone else, but you have no fecking idea about me and the Palace. My first game was in 1946, I used to sell raffle tickets in the ground, penny on the ball tickets and pass round the collection tin in the Main Stand. I have also, for more years than I care to remember, been a season ticket holder in the Arthur - Block V, Row O, seat 89. Unlike you I have never continued to abuse a Palace player continually on this forum. So to sum up I was putting out for, and supporting, Palace before you were even a twinkle in your mother's eye.

I never said that Julian is the biggest club legend ever. But his name sits comfortably alongside the names you mention above, all of whom are legends. And you have tried to shoot him down many a time when the reality is, he has not deserved it. You may have followed the club for a long time but you have certainly tarnished your supporter status with me and others on here by placing a club legend below a player that most think is awful.

You forget that Wayne was not dropped, he got injured playing for Wales. I should think that Roy and Ray will be considering bringing back WH for Stoke. And Wayne Hennessey couldn't replace Speroni when he was injured, Alex 'Butter Gloves' McCarthy was considered ahead of him. Then Steeeveee Mandala, and now JS. WH isn't good enough, Mandala wasn't good enough, Alex McCarthy couldn't catch a cold, and Julian Speroni is all we have.

Doesn't matter if they're the worst or the best of screw ups, they ended in gifting a goal to the opposition. If you make a mistake, and get away with it, then its ok. Otherwise they are all the same.

Still can't admit he made a total c*ck up. Pretty sad really. Incidentally I have said for ages we need a better keeper, Heaton being my first choice. Is the correct answer. JS isn't the solution, he's the band aid. WH, AM, SM - none of these has been remotely 1st choice premiership. And the fact that promoted teams are coming up with better goal keepers than we have bought should be a concern. WH isn't good enough, and our number 2 keeper is yesterdays man (sadly). Reality is, we should have bought a keeper at least two seasons ago - Rather than the fiasco's we've employed. WH shouldn't being playing in the premier league. He wasn't good enough last time he was there.

I'm with you on this one B-G. Exactly. You’re allowed the odd mistake when you’re generally good at what you do. When you’re s***e and make mistakes then it isn’t acceptable. That’s the same in all industries.

There’s no support in the world I could have given that would have seen a lift in Wayne’s performance levels.
