I ready hope we spend on a quality attacking player who can play CAM and CF, a player like Son of the Spuds, that type.
“That’s a joke son, I say, that’s a joke.” “Nice boy, but he’s sharp as a throw pillow.” “He’s so dumb he thinks a Mexican border pays rent” “ “Son… I say, son, some people are so narrow minded they can look through a keyhole with both eyes.”__ Forhorn Leghorn |

'Newcastle United have made a third bid to sign Marc Guehi from Crystal Palace, believed to be in the region of £60m, sources have told BBC Sport. The bid is believed to be structured with £55m up front and the possibility of £5m in add-ons. However, Palace value England defender Guehi at close to £70m, with the 24-year-old one of the standout performers at Euro 2024':

Time to take the money and move on. We don’t need this additional disruption come January when it will all start again!

Sell him. He has weaknessess. We did ok without him when he was injured. Not sure he 'fits' with how OG wants to set us up.

Yeah, just sell an England international because, well because. Very strange supporters this club has. We have a valuation for Guehi. We might not want to sell him. If Newcastle don't meet our valuation, then he should be retained. It's very simple. So far they have offered us derisory amounts. Next season he will be worth less, but another season with him in red and blue must be worth 20 million.

If we reject this bid and he signs a new contract, his just used Newcastle to try and flush out a big club, I'd rather he goes Newcastle, cb is not the hardest position to replace, the money they're offering gives us a chance of strengthening the whole squad.
