Palace are most represented team in England squad! Southgate clearly still an Eagle at heart.

Wow!

Just amazing. Nobody could have predicted this. 4 players in the full squad.

A point I would like to make for those worrying about our players going next season. Jack Grealish went to city and Maddison to spurs to play for the big boys and be England regulars. Neither plays all the time and in Grealish’s case hardly ever. Same with Kelvin Philips. I bet they all wished they played a bigger role for a smaller team right now.

6he way we are playing under OG there is no reason to leave this season.

Before Wharton was picked for the 33 I got laughed at by my mates when I said he will get picked. I then got laughed at when I said he would make the cut. I predicted weeks ago that I would start him. Doesn’t seem so funny now to them.

My team before this cut was…

Pickford
Walker. Stones. MG, Shaw if fit or trippier
Rice and Wharton
Saka Bellingham foden
Kane

No chance they said. Let’s see

Guehi could well be a regular starter at the Euros and I have a sneak suspicion Wharton will play a big role with Eze a potential match winner off the bench!
3 Lions but 4 Eagles!

Love it all. We are launching up towards you mars!

Very good points. I am hoping they all stay and even Olise reconsiders his country.

Watched the press conference

Southgate wasn't asked about Wharton but Rice was asked about him twice

He was very complimentary and I sensed a spark in his answers as he said you could tell he was a top players and described his passing skills and temperament

He seemed genuinely excited about what Adam will bring to the squad

Hoping those two start in midfield tomorrow

A milestone for the club I think.

This upcoming season is so important for us with our players being hunted for transfers....the stadium and Textor's shares.

It's all in play.

I'm filled with pride..... imagine one of them getting the winner that brings the trophy back! Good times at Selhurst Park.

It’s incredibly difficult to not feel an immense pride in our club atm and optimism for the future. Glasner, 4 lions and hopefully a beneficial summer.

Now Zaha's got a bit of green grass ahead of him here... and finds Ambrose... not a bad effort!!!!

My phone has gone all quiet over the last few months & is silent now - usually would be lots of crap on it from my mates supporting top 8 teams, going on about their achievements, who they beat, what they won, who they signed etc etc & how they are better than Palace in just about every department -

I am really enjoying this, lol

Grealish’s omission will certainly help or even cement Eze and Wharton places on the plane.

I do feel sorry for Grealish. He’s one of those players who Southgate plays kicking and screaming and has to perform twice as well as other players to be included. One can only surmise why that is but it doesn’t seem entirely fair to me.

Anyway…I’m not saying selection is easy.

I think you're referring to the Grealish of a year or two ago. These days he rarely takes on a player and 9 times out of 10 his pass is backwards.

I have now sufficient funds to last me the rest of my life. Provided I don't buy anything.
