You would rather put some of our key players at risk for the FA cup and leave us vulnerable to relegation is terrible thinking . We wont win the FA cup with the likes of City united Arse Spurs ect still in it , VAR and the FA will make sure of that . You need to get a grip we dont have the players or the depth in our squad. What if Eze or Marc Guéhi or Anderson or Lerma get injured for the rest of the season .Everton are beatable well we couldnt do it against 10 of them last night what makes you think we will do it against 11 of them away from home , did you spot something i didnt last night ?? did you even watch the game ? 2 words for you mate the first one begins with f .

That last bit made me laugh. Needed that :-)

I plan to visit a local 'Public House' and imbibe some alcoholic refreshments.I have no intention of watching the game, indeed if it is being televised I will ensure the venue I attend will be one which does not have a television.

I appreciate the point but I obviously don’t need the risks of relegation spelled out to me, although I don’t think we ever have slid beyond the second tier in the past.

My point is not that I think we’re not at risk, it’s that I view Roy as *more* responsible for that than I think it’s because of the gaps in our squads - a better manager (see Sean Dyche) gets considerably more out of our squad, I’m certain of that.

In the past have played in both the old third Division and were founder members of the 4th Division when that was formed in the late 1950's. As for poor R,oy an easy blame I'm afraid, ignore the fact that he has kept us up on a shoestring for many years and was called back by SP in to action to save us last season after PV left and then again was asked to continue, because Parish could not find an ambitious younger dynamic Manager to take on the job with little resources in terms of transfer budget and a very shallow quality squad. Even during the summer Roy made it clear in the dying embers of that transfer window he needed 3-5 players and we all know what he got. As a consequence, we are in the difficulties that we are in. I find it highly unlikely Roy can be replaced by anyone better with a reputation and ambition until our directors wake up to the need to invest in the squad.

I will refrain from watching it if it is on the television.
I really have no desire to subject myself to yet another drab and uninspired performance, causing a look of instant gaseous nausea to fall on my face.

Are you quoting Mrs W in your second paragraph?

Many years ago, she commented that my performance was lacking.I enquired as to how she could form such a judgement after a couple of minutes.

It's all very frustrating at the moment.

We are so unbalanced at the moment that we can barely string any passes together and everything so slow and laborious. Injuries play a part but ultimately so does the managers selection

Last night at the end we had 2 up top with no winger on the pitch.

Ahamada stuck on the right (he is a box to box midfielder)
Eze on the left (at his best when played centrally)
Richards at DM (I won't knock him as I think he's done ok in the circumstances but it's not his natural position).
Lerma is also playing a further forward role but has very limited creative abilities.

At the end last season Roy was happy to play one holding midfielder with 2 box to box players either side. I know injuries have limited playing the same team but the players we do have available would be much better off in that same system than what we're currently trying.

At present unless Olise plays we're barely worth watching.
