Bit of good news . . . [Link]
This operation, will make the 'Charge Of The Light Brigade' seem like a simple military exercise. |

I think this is the right decision. I expected PV to get a warning as to future conduct but not a ban given the level of provocation, absence of stewarding etc. It will be very amusing to see the Everton fan reaction however. One supporter who runs a blog was outraged that PV wasn't charged by the Police (while excusing their own fans behaviour of course) and now they will even more incandescent.

Who would have supported the prosecution of PV? It had no legal or political value. The only thing I regret is that PV didn't slap that t*** a bit harder. I'm sure many Everton fans and pundits would agree.

Good news - thanks Eagleman How long does it take to establish that a pitch invasion interrupted the match, Palace players were attacked and Palace were offered no security. Sounds like they are waiting for close season when everyone will have lost interest

Not in a million though however we should hold it in reserve should we want to do so next season.
Now Zaha's got a bit of green grass ahead of him here... and finds Ambrose... not a bad effort!!!! |

Palace since 19 August 1972. Palace 1 (Tony Taylor) Liverpool 1 (Emlyn Hughes) |

I saw this in the Mail it doesn't name the manager so I hope I am wrong about who it might be. However there was an odd press release from PV a while ago.

Given that the article refers to Derby crown court maybe that indicates its related to one of the clubs in the middle of the country ? (rather than down south) Originally posted by Badger11
