The phrase, 'right side of history' has to be one of the most cringey phrases ever. It assumes that how society sees the past now will always be how it's seen. In fact...to just say it is to ignore the inherent inevitability of changing perspective. Edited by Stirlingsays (31 Mar 2022 7.35pm)

I'm surprised you're watching sixty year old series.....I thought I was the one with the preference for the past.

Diana Rigg was really phwoa in those days.

I can't really watch Patrick Macnee once I learnt he become a US citizen in the late fifties. His living was all about how English he was.....fake....sullied it for me. David Niven was the benchmark. Diana Rigg....don't know much about her but she was great in Game of Thrones. Edited by Stirlingsays (31 Mar 2022 11.03pm)

He didn’t do much in England other than Steed. But he was expelled from Eton before studying acting.
