If these firms employ English people in English companies then much will come back in tax, both vat and personal tax. Employing many people is a good thing, isn't it?

Paid out in huge dividends to themselves. You have issues with self-employed people yet have no problem with cronyism. You have such a warped belief system when it comes to this kind of thing.

And before the vaccine roll-out is mentioned, even BJ very early on put that down to the private sector (drugs companies) playing their part in the capitalist market. Edited by Forest Hillbilly (12 Dec 2021 10.27am) A vast amount more during the pandemic than many would think.

A Corbyn government would have been far better for us, in every way. To leave or exit, under terms to be voted on by us, how does that look now! Failed privatisations such water and energy, transport, restored to public accountability. A wealth tax, genuine corporation tax increases and social justice. Ending homelessness, evictions. child poverty where to even start now. And all the time the few get more wealth than they could ever handle, the country awash with corruption. A dictatorship? it's almost one now. The fact that the brexit generation brought this upon us is undeniable. 17 million utter plonkers.
17 million utter plonkers eh - in your eyes everyone who doesn't agree with you is an idiot.

It was a long running joke going back years with a poster who has been on here basically since the site was created. If any of Mike Neskins nearest and dearest happen to frequent this site and found it in poor taste then I will happily apologise to them. Hardly like I burst into his funeral to make a joke was it?

Nevertheless Dan, considering your politics you do seem to occupy a rather unusual 'no man's land' when it comes to offence. I rarely have any issues with what you write personally but then again my politics isn't so censorship based and puritan.....Is there a touch of, 'it's alright when I do it' flavour going on? Lady presenter on LBC said she went in to the boots walk in for her booster jab, they said wheres your doctors recomendation? She said I thought its a walk up and get jabbed system? They said it is, after you get your doctor to recomend you and clear it. She said I could just book a doctors appointment in that case. Bit like me going to the walk in centre in Croydon with a bad knee, the bloke said "its gona be between 4 and 5 wait". Bloomin hell I said, 4 or 5 hours in a walk in surgery, thats not good. He said no, 4 or 5 weeks! Welcome to the NHS people, this is the reality. I just strolled in for my booster. 0 mins wait. Independent pharmacy, you see. The problem she experienced was Boots. The place that likes to say "no". A behemoth fettered by red tape.

I booked an appointment for a flu jab a few years back turned up and they said sorry we have run out of vaccine didn't call me or even offer to re-book. A couple of shops up was Superdrug got sorted no problem. Sadly Boots a once great company is now on the auction block and will probably fall to a predator. Anyway back on point get jabbed folks.
