I have seen accusations not evidence. The only evidence we know about so far is stuff such as number of deaths / hospitalisations / lack of PPE I think most of us will agree on those facts. Cummings evidence was his interpretation of how we got into that mess e.g. Boris lied, Hancock lied, civil servants were useless. That evidence has yet to be confirmed so I await for that to be corroborated by others. That’s a given. One thing that’s come out of this is it sounds like Lib left dreamers including DanH are waking up to this via their new pin up Dom Cum.

Edited by The Dolphin (27 May 2021 6.03pm) This is not sufficient information For the facts, look at The Kings Fund. Bed utilisation has risen recently and therefore more recent Governments should by now have taken action. Especially in provision for the elderly. If you have ever tried taking an elderly person with dementia to hospital with e.g. a broken hip you will have first hand experience of how policy and investment did not adjust post implementation of 'care in the community'. Hospitals simply have no way to cope.

Cummings somehow seems to forget that when all of this bad planning and decision making was going on he was in fact the Senior advisor to the Government so this hardly reflects well on him. As with all things the truth is somewhere in the middle. Cummings has made a career out of being deceitful and dishonest so why now all these lefties are hanging on his every word is just ridiculous.

Maybe so, he has been pretty apologetic But he also said that on multiple occasions he (amongst many others) wasn't listened to, until it came to the point where he had to resign. And he wished he had resigned earlier. I see nobody hanging on his every word, most of what he said was already well known. If he has lied I have no doubt someone in Government will take him to task on that. Unless, of course, they are all too busy giving vaccinations as seems to be the endless claim.
