Just watching rugby, 4 English players didn’t kneel again... none of the Irish team did. Wearing thin now and no-one is interested. Just wish MOTD would not insist on showing it before every game I'm both surprised and pleased that MOTD2 didn't show it before our highlights on Sunday! Bl0ody hell! Maybe even the BBC are getting bored of it now!

Perhaps the "Taking the knee" will be replaced with some other form of expression of a message next season. Players linking arms, large banners taken on to the field of play, balloons with messages being released into the air etc etc and this will be before our eyes game on game. There will be a slogan which the TV channels will ram down our throats as SKY do at present. I will now return to the football debates!

I support the message of black lives matter as cos of the police being dangerous to us black people especially in america which england tends to copy and emulate But it shouldnt be in football and is clearly a marxiat organisation which i couldnt support via join as they are working for a maoist goal secretly which ia secretly evil.

I don’t think it’s the police who copy America.

I suspect that the football authorities and the broadcasters would happily drop it - if they had the guts. What particularly irks me is that not only do we have to see it, but, as part of the whole charade, the commentators seem to be under orders to tell us what's happening. As the great Australian cricketer and commentator, Richie Benaud, used to say, "If the viewers can see it, what's the point of mentioning it?" But again, the powers-that-be are stuck with it - and it's their own fault.

We all saw/heard what happened at a dozen grounds at least a few months back, will be a lot worse with full grounds. IMO.
This operation, will make the 'Charge Of The Light Brigade' seem like a simple military exercise. |
