Rugby for the brutal.

My beef with Rugby is the constant stoppages and constant rule changes, penalties for practically anything.

We needed a ref who would encourage open play.

The Japs were outstanding to watch but in the end muscle wins.

The penalties certainly did us in. We were still in with a chance at the start of the second half, but they smothered our play really. The best team on the day won.

Well done South Africa! Only one team in it and I don't follow the game. Means a lot over here, noise all morning has been LOUD! Huge boost for the country!

They did well to get out of the Wales game, so it was a hard fought route to the final. You've got to be in it to win it as they say. Congratulations to SA.

Rugby is all whistle, decided by what referee you have.

And so is PL football, look at any game now, it is just a matter of you being more fortunate with the VAR.

There's definitely a good argument that overly policing games via VAR and the like interrupts the flow and makes it all a bit too clinical. It's a difficult balancing act no doubt.

they seem to find something when they need to, generally speaking South Africa are better at rugby than England, bit like Italy with the footy, out muscled us and found our weaknesses so that we cud not build any momentum, remember the British teams would be nowhere near as competitive without southern hemisphere coaches, we're competitive but ultimately beating all three tri-nations was too big an ask
