Rode our luck but another great away result at a top PL team. Always great to hear other supporters bemoaning "titchy" Ayew, predicted team in bottom 3 etc. on the radio to their defeat. However like us to push on next game which is totally different at home against Villa. Would be very easy to keep the 11 but I feel the midfield needs changing against Villa with Camarasa introduced. Let's have a more attacking midfield. Need to be on the front foot from the off. COYP !!

What a result and how badly that was needed after the misery of last week. 4 points after 3 tough games is nothing to be scoffed at considering our starts to the season in recent years.

Major plus today was Cahill, He was a marvelous piece of business and I hope he stays in the team now.

For all my slating of Schlupp he actually done well today and helped out PVA on the left.

Ayew was tremendous in the first half, yes he has his flaws but he got to be our main striker for now with the current form of the other 2. I loved the way he put it about flying into tackles and being a prick to the opposition.

One of the biggest problems for today which has been the same for ages is our passing. Kouyate, Luca and Jmac cant pass the ball 2 yards which is a major problem for us. The game just seems to pass them by week in and out. We need to make changes in centre midfield very quickly.

Im not sure how closely you all watched when their penalty was given but Luca just tripped McTominay on purpose which is an absolute joke. He made no attempt to do anything else and im surprised he wasnt given a second yellow.

Anyway, What a result and Il sleep well tonight.

Whilst Chelski won today, with him and Luiz leaving at the back big blows for them. Could well be a very good addition for us, vastly experienced and knows what defending in this league is about.

Let's get Camarasa in there, pushing us forward.

He should start v Colchester, lets hope he does well and gives Roy a selection headache. Just listening to Roy earlier he said he was always going to play Ayew today even though he dropped him for Sheff Utd. There could be a lot of changes in players and formation this season depening on the opposition.

AWB was culpable for both our goals, caught upfield when Schlupp headed on, he was nowhere to be seen covering his CB as Ayew was clean through. Second goal down his side and was unable to clear as PVA fired home.
Ward gets stick, but he put a shift in today to keep them out.
