The PL money means that there is less need to sell good players than ever before.
It is easier to compete with foreign clubs for players.

Parish and his pals bought the club for next to nothing.

We got very lucky having Zaha. Parish sold him.
We got unbelievably lucky to get him back.

We got lucky that Watford had an off day in the Play Off Final.

Holloway and Parish spends money on a lot of crap

Got lucky to find Pulis available. Parish fell out with him.

Neil Warnock. Didn't work.

Pardew. Did OK for a while, One cup final, which we lost to a poor Man U...Again. Should have been sacked earlier.

Then we got lucky to find Big Sam available. Not ambitious enough for him.

Brought in a complete weirdo that wanted to play expansive football despite not having the players to do it. Hopless thinking.

Roy. Steady and won't quit even when the board sells his best players.

What has Parish actually done?

The simple answer, done a better job than the previous 4 Chairmen.

Your above post from another thread sums up your mind set on Parish. You just don’t like him and it doesn’t matter what he does you just won’t credit him for any success the club has. The fact the clubs in its best position ever is just down to luck and Parish has had no influence on this but anything that doesn’t go so well is all his fault, your a pretty hard man to please aren’t you.

The grammatically sloppy answer perhaps.

Without Zaha and the fortune of finding three top managers available, we would have gone down like all the other times we achieved top tier status.

I'll see Parish in a more favourable light when he delivers the new stand and more so when he delivers the club into the hands of owners with greater ambition and the money to back it.

Who sold the Whitehorse end to Sainsburys, therefore making expansion very difficult. Pocketing all the money, before selling to Noades.
Next did a fairly decent job, but sold all our best players to fund the building of his golf courses. Then sold the club and not the ground, therefore holding the club back, making it was impossible to grow.
Next lost all his money, went into administration.
Next thought he knew best, but lost all his money and went into administration.

Be careful who you wish for as an owner.

Fecking hell.....We are honoured.

Who would have thought that the messiah would end up supporting our humble club.

Bit of a weird way to reveal yourself after two thousand odd years but who's complaining.

Mind those Juniper bushes!

That is 'you're', and a full stop helps too.

Meanwhile, try not thinking for other people. I suspect that you might need all that thinking power for yourself.
