If I agreed with you we'd both be wrong |

I cannot see Cardiff winning both games, although I couldn't see Oldham winning their last 4 back in the day.

Now that Cardiff have stuffed it and us losing to them won't change Brightons fate I can guarantee, 100% we'll lose to them.

3 points in both games please. I couldn't care less whether it's Brighton or Cardiff who are relegated but the more points that we get the more prize money and the easier it will be to attract new players

This is so exciting that someone has actually used the last page of comments on this post to build an online article [Link] Maybe everyone could edit their comments to "football fancast is a plagiarising piece of sh*t" for amusement.

Couple of weeks ago I would've said lose to Cardiff, but as the game gets closer I just want us to end on a high so would go for beating them now. Let the other lot stay up and hopefully we can stuff them next season

The article states that Brighton are playing Manchester City this weekend. I thought that they were parking the bus against Arsenal on Sunday and then parking the bus against City the following Sunday.
It's 106 miles to Chicago, we got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark... and we're wearing sunglasses. |

The only remaining (slightest) chance of Brighton being relegated is for us to lose....so we have to roll over and hope they turnover Manure on the final day. We'll lose with a Wilf own goal - let's face it they aren't capable of scoring themselves.
The God I believe in isn't short of cash, mister. |

Yet in certain games you want to sense passion and a determination to go for it. Watford away for the cup and both Brighton games would surely be among those. And though I was only in the ground for the Brighton home game you felt it was lacking and that is not just about tactics. Nor is it that loosing games is the problem. Spurs away comes to mind too, what an opportunity to write history. Yet we only start playing after we go 2 down. Yes we have been defensive and tried to catch teams on the break and as such sat back most games, but I have felt a sense lacking passion in the team overall. Depends on the squad we are playing at the time, the away game against Brighton was ruined by officials and at home they sat back (look at the away Spurs game) they can defend very well, Watford are just very mean in both senses and all three games could have gone either way they didn't outplay us at all. Spurs was a surprise yes, but they don't have three outfield players who fail miserably with simple passing. Passion depends entirely on the opposition. Edited by Tickled pink (05 May 2019 11.33am)

Well, Brighton actually has very good individualities. Knockaert, Andone and Murray have had a good season as far as I'm concerned. Locadia has had a decent one. Izquierdo is very good when he's fit. But their problem is that the manager mostly plays out of form Jahanbaksh, Izquierdo who came back from injury and Solly March, who is so-so. That's why they didn't score at all in 7 games. But their squad is good. If they keep this and next season they have a good pre-season and no one gets injured, they should be a tough nut to crack in the PL. Edited by mattteo (08 May 2019 11.04pm)

They could be in real trouble at the start of next season. Can’t score or create and CB’s being found out for their limited abilities.
