i tell you what, we play some of the best football in the league...whilst having one of the best defences to boot.

we may not be able to “finish” our dinner but its a joy to watch this team.

i watched the video on the official webby with kouayte, and his words were something along the lines of “with some self belief & confidence this team could be really, really special” he is right.

if we could finish our chances we could genuinally by a side to rival the teams for 6/7th place...man for man wolves arnt better than us.

i hope roy stays til he is 80.

You must be watching too much American football, lay off Jimmy Mac everybody misses chances now and again,he normally takes his chances well.He is one of our best players in Roy I trust. The last twenty minutes were tailor made for Max when we were chasing the game and he played well.In other games he is too lightweight and ineffective .

Don’t get your point about American football.

Anyway, time for MacArthur to rotate out for home games. He is highly ineffective coming forward and seems to constantly get fed the ball in the final third.

His miss today was abysmal and shows a player with zero confidence in his ability to score. Meyer took a great goal against Liverpool.

MacArthur has been off the pace for months and even knows it himself.

Trump lost. Badly. Hahahahahahaha.

Don't want to jinx it but I agree with Wright's comment on motd that we were gong to batter someone and i wonder if Leicester away is the perfect game on paper with their ineffective possession game. Obviously palace will end up making them look like Barcelona...

We batter plenty of teams without actually scoring

I honestly dont remember the last time I thought "We deserve to lose this" we look the better side so often now, and even if we concede, you feel like we can still turn it around...combine that with the fact that we make top 6 sides very nervous, this is probably the best we have been in nearly 3 decades...2 wins out of the next 3 isn't ridiculous, our finishing doesn't even need to improve that much...just finish the sitters would be enough...

A bit of a positive after what's been a fairly dim day is that were ahead of Brighton in the league table (Albeit on goal difference). Not too much to get excited about but still something.

The problem at the club is our players can't hit the target frpm 8 yards with only the keeper to beat. We could and should have scored 3 or 4 goals today. Not sure what you expect roy or Steve to do about that. Yes we've needed a goal scorer most of thd season, but even do, the chances our highly paid players have missed this season is just ridiculous.

SP allowed us to go in to this season with just one fit out of form striker and did nothing about sourcing additional fire power all last summer and for most of the last window only making a panic signing at the last minute, our scouting and sourcing has been poor now for sometime!, all I want is to stay up and that at the moment is by no means guaranteed!

Once we went a goal behind against W.Ham I really felt that given our abject home record the best we would get was going to be a point.Indeed we are in a real relegation battle and it is likely to go down to the wire."Squeaky bum time" and all that.

Course you did, we could of got all three easily if we had finished our chances. Given the way we play, with the amount of chances we creat (23 shots on goal yesterday) and compare that with the teams around, us who concede for fun and can’t create, I predict we won’t go down and will pull away with ease.

Burnley and Southampton have only conceded 6 goals in their last 6 PL games and Newcastle have conceded 7 during that period. These teams are hardly leaking goals.

want to point out something i found uneasy today.

first couple of minutes, WHU got a corner, and there was one guy, on his own in block a, must have been maybe 50 years old, repeatedly screaming “c***” about 15 times at the player taking the corner, with 2 stewards in close proximity doing absoluty nothing about it.

what on earth makes a person behave in that manner?

i couldnt think how many games ive been to over the years but never, ever thought about doing that.

Alright brauny. Makes you wonder, i guess alcohol and a Neolithic tribal instinct just possess's these bafoons.

Guy behind me isnt too great on that front, after calling schlupp a useless donkey for the umpteenth time (along with being homophobic) i confronted him. Ended up getting punched (so did my mrs). Hoping the club do something about these idiots, they dont belong at football.
