A good well deserved win. Surprised by the substitutions but it is good to see Roy use the bench at last. Meyer must play!

Why should Meyer play. He is a bit lightweight, lacks pace and has a limited range of passing. In the prem you can compensate for the first two if you have the third. Today he tried a few lazy flicks that didn’t come off whereas the much maligned Schlup was busy all game and certainly has a better eye for a goal than most in our team. Meyer either needs to bulk up or speed up.

Get Batshoes on a permanent and RLC in the summer and we are ready for our best season yet in the premier league.

(Oh and keep everyone else)

Agree, Schlupp offers more and drives forward with a decent shot on him.

Best Palace squad - on paper - ever!!! IMO!

But it’s Palace so we’ll still be dicing with relegation for the rest of the season and will end up as the best squad ever to get relegated!

Great result but please let’s remember we were playing a team 2nd bottom with the worst defensive record in the top 5 leagues of Europe. We need to put teams away a lot earlier because we could easily have dropped points again today

Because it is good to see a player with a decent pass. Much needed in this side.

Trouble with loanees is that they belong to someone else and have to go back at the end of the season ... so let's just enjoy the situation while we can.

Excellent three points today and I'm looking forward to getting three more next weekend.

A most welcome and a well deserved win.

With Cardiff beating Bournemouth 2-0 tonight we are still 4 pts off the relegation zone.Bournemouth have now lost their last 7 away games in the PL and I wasn't expecting them to win against Cardiff.

They didn’t have a shot on target.

We are a nightmare for teams like Fulham as they don’t know how to even begin to break us down - that said if mitrovic doesn’t contrive to miss a free header from 6 yards out with their first attack, it could have been different.

Defensively we are generally pretty good.

For the first 60 minutes we were pretty hopeless coming forward, so many bad passes, bad flicks, misplaced touches. MacArthur is many things but he is not a winger so not sure what he was doing out there several times.

In Luka and MacArthur we have 2 solid pros but there is no guile or creativity there at all. We looked better once Meyer came in there and started to play some neat passes.

We won this game more by how well drilled and determined in defence. I agree on the Mitrovic miss was lucky or it could’ve been a different day. Apart from that one we cut off a lot of supply into the box and were very aware of where Mitrovic was. You could see our players looking around to see if he was going their way. Remember our only created chance until Batsman came on was a penalty.

Ayew played well out side with space in front of him. Schlupp was good. Opened his legs. Good to see. Benteke looks confident. Meyer didn’t have anyone close to work off in the short time he was on.

I think it's better the other way round with Bats and Benteke together, you need someone to hold the ball up and Ayew or Bats don't look like they can do that. Bats was better in 10 minutes than ayew was all game, the guy offers no threat at the end of the day.

Ayew is better our wide with open spaces in front of or behind the full back. That left foot shot was the best in this area today but there were other moments. Turns the defence round, which if used properly and supported or people make the box it can be very dangerous.

Ayew can’t hold the ball up and Batsman has no interest in heading the ball. Wait for a mistake from a defender not controlling a high ball he will do but he won’t be a target man or bringing people in from miles away.

Fulham looked decent in the first half without being particularly threatening.
It was disappointing to see us sitting back against a team with one of the worst defensive records in the league.
Second half was better and if we can eventually get Zaha and Batshuayi on the field together we will hopefully attack with more intent and approach games more positively.
I also liked the look of Sako when he came on; two dangerous crosses into the box and we know he has a decent shot on him.
Ayew worked hard today and does contribute but I hope that Roy doesn’t select him out of loyalty in preference to players who carry a greater attacking threat.

Looking like 1 position from 6 up to the Weed, who haven't won this year. Good chance of moving above them next week with a visit from the Spammers. COYP !!
