The 3rd goal was pretty much an own goal. Think the 1st 2 were savable aswell. Think either of the other 2 keepers would have let 2 in today.
The day we start scoring, we let soft goals in. Gutting.

As dispappointing as the manner of today's defeat was, the results of games against the top 6 won't defeine our season. We need to get results against the 13 other teams. Losing a lead against Watford is far more worrying than losing a lead against Liverpool.
We need to be aiming at a minimum of 10 points from the next 6 league games. I am not confident the current squad will achieve that.

Spot on!

Unfortunately I’ve not seen the game yesterday, wife broke her ankle so I’ve been doing my man servant bit, bless her. I caught something about Paul Merson and Alan Shearer blowing their top over incident with Salah diving in the box. For what I can gather it was pure cheating on Salah part if it was that bad does anyone think it will be review by the FA. I See that Milner was sent off against us again was it his usual animal tactics can anyone enlighten me thanks.

When we went a goal up for the rest of the game they turned into a cynical cheating bunch of I wont say what. Was so happy whenMilner got red. Totally deserved. Dirty cynical cheat. Was trying to take WZ out the game.

Was that our turning point re goals this season? Can we start scoring like that at home please players. Fantastic show. So unlucky to come away with no points. But hopefully we have come away with a lot more. The belief that we can score freely in a game. Let’s show this at home for the rest of the season.

Worth mentioning our first goal was a cracker. The way they close passed out of defence when Liverpool were pressing then the quick passing on the break. If Man City had scored that it would have been hailed as brilliant.

Not surprised, after the way Wilf went past him for our first goal.

Yep, JMacs tenacity was excellent, Wilfs cut back was superb and Andros finished with aplomb. That is the exact type of run and finish we need from a new striker with (fast) legs.

Against strong teams who dominate possession and play mainly in our half our organised, talented defence coupled with our capacity to launch fast, sharp counter attacks makes us a threat to any side. The problem comes when we dominate and opponents sit deep. Things have improved to the extent that we will now muster 30 something attempts where once there was little more than a soporific shambles. We still lack what it takes to convert 30 attempts to one goal despite being able to manage a respectable 3 goals from 9 shots yesterday. It seems to be the time to think that's so disastrous. We'd all like to see a signing which might help and I suspect Niasse might have been our best shot with limited options. But with the problem situated so clearly between the ears, a sisgning would still be a long shot. Hopefully - as every season to date in the loadsamoulah - the chill of the drop zone below spreading through the soles of their boots will induce the edge of panic which is the only known antidote to date.

Sadio Mane is a clever player and to me it looked like he had his arm under Townsend's and used it to push Townsend's up onto the ball trying to get a penalty.
Not sure if that's why the ref gave the foul.
