I have to say it.....I'm actually quite worried.

This side has that smell of players who are happy to pick up the pay cheque......when you combine that with low confidence that's dangerous.

Without Zaha, we are buggered....again.....Palace are still living season to season.

I think if you read it the point is that Wan-Bissaka should be replaed with Ward so that the former can be pushed up the field, not dropped altogheter. There is merit in this argument but it means change and Hodgson doesn't do change.

Let's be honest. There's not a lot there. Easy money for some.

Wan B is great but as a young player he should be rested.
I worry that Roy will burn him out.

I’m in France so I missed the game. Reading here I am unbiased but it sounds awful. However no one seems to have mentioned the sudden departure of our 1st team coach recently. It all sounded ver odd but also coincides with our recent change in performance. Any thoughts?

Sorry, but he wasn’t ‘great’ yesterday or even ‘good’. To be fair, he was no worse than anyone else in an abject display, but it seemed that every time he had the ball it ended up with the opposition. When he gets forward, he doesn’t seem to be able to pass to a team-mate. It was exactly the same at the Southampton game.

I think Hodgeson seriously needs to think about changing the way we play, we are too predictable for teams, Our strength was to catch teams on the break or counter break. As we saw yesterday and all of the season teams are now reversing that system against us. All Ayew/ Benteke do is play down the centre of the park, our middle field is narrow in the sense that defensiveness is the priority, there is no creativity, we need flair in the centre of the park and I think Meyer is the player to do that. Our striker department is a complete joke, but enough said about that

Milo needs a rest he is not playing like last season, We have other midfielders let’s just change things around what harm can it do, we are not scoring, we are losing games on a serial mode we can’t afford to keep dicing with relegation, every year we hear “It’s going to be different this season” “but it is not “ we have been lucky over the last few season, managers have come in and saved our bacon, We have played that game to many times and if we are not careful the luck will run out.
I also think we need that voice on the touchline when Sammy Lee was here there was energy and emthusiasm generating from the touchline players warm to him,as with Reidy maybe it was an opportunity lost when Steven Reid left.

we seem tobe lacking movement we get the ball and stand around waiting for players to move, makes us to easy to mark, we need to freshen up attack and play our youngsters, sadly we have loaned Daly out, scoring for under 23s and we ship him out with our strike force struggling,

for me play Ward drop Townsend, push AWB forward have Wilf and Ayew upfront, give Mc a rest play Meyer, play Pape push Pva up,they may freshen things up sadly we cant do much else until Jan window or Connor comes back,

still think there are lot worst teams than us we are 2 games clear of the bottom 3,do we need to panic not yet to early, a season is 38 games if after 30 games we are in same position then panic

The reid bit does sort of tie in with our present efforts and performances.

You may wish to try to relax as it is highly likely based on the next 5 games or so it is not going to get better in terms of results. Overjoyed with 4 points from these but about 1 looks more likely. Think we will be relying on Tekkers to go on a goalscoring run when he inevitably returns up front. If this doesn't happen then in Jan we really need to find a gem to deliver a spark.

Watching the highlights and Palace did carve out some pretty fantastic chances against Wolves. Against another mid-table keeper at least one of them would have gone in, but Patricio is a VERY good goalkeeper.

He's a good keeper but we had good chances and still didn't put them away. Is it because individuals in the team are not being coached properly? What do they do all week? Don't be appeased by the television highlights ... there were probably 94 seconds in a 94 minute match!!!
