Wife beating may be socially acceptable in Sheffield, but it is a different matter in Cheltenham

It’s truly f**king ridiculous that this team cannot win unless Zaha plays. Other sides don’t have him, but they still manage to win matches. Maybe he should stay out of the team until they have learned how to get wins without him, but the down side of course is we’d be relegated by Christmas.

Roy, it is time for Sørloth and Ayew. I have been extremely patient BUT HOW MANY MORE chances can Benteke waste? And you take Ayew off for Sørloth. Meyer should play from outset as should Kayoute. Schlupp is a good player .... but a starting player? Give these guys a starting role and let THEM build experience with CP. and THEIR confidence too.

You reckon he's good enough to go on the bench?

Another season of struggle beckons. Whether we like it or not we are a one man team

Might of been a different game with Meyer from the start. Tekkers might of even put one in !! The guy had set up our last Prem goal and had looked solid mid week even with a similar player like Williams around him which was another questionable starting team formation. Baffling why he wasn't starting over say Schlupp

Why am I not surprised that McCarthy never played like this for palace when he was here

He wasn’t very good today? He played today exactly like he played for us. A couple of good saves interspersed with some absolute s***. He came or, clapped and got nowhere near two corners and was let off by Benteke blazing over. That’s the only difference. Against a team with a competent striker McCarthy would be being ripped for awful control of his penalty area.

Myself I've never liked Hodgson, I still think he struggles to see what is happening in front of him, we always struggle against struggling teams

Despite the fact that he kept us in the game?

It wouldn't be a better idea to drop that useless c*** Benteke?
I'd also drop Schlupp. Useless.
Meyer and Kouyate must play.

Out coached today Roy. HTF Myer and Kouyate didn't start today is a mystery. Completely outclassed in midfield until Myer came on and gave us some spark. Apart from WH piss poor effort by all the starting 10 outfield players! 3 more points dropped to a club we should be beating comfortably.

Benteke genuinely needs reserve team football - out of the spotlight - for a while. Frankly, anyone is better at present.

I just said this to my mate. He made some good saves, including the penalty but he has to take some responsibility for both goals. As usual he was indecisive for both.

We deserved nothing from that game. We never looked like scoring. We have just made Southampton look like Barca...

Benteke is just the poorest excuse for a footballer I've seen for a long time.
