we need to keep sharp , sober and hungry. It aint over yet.

Of course, but my post was merely intended as a bit of a dig at BBC sports reporters talking sh*te. In the scenario you describe, both we and Stoke could still achieve more than 36 points, therefore Brighton wouldn’t be safe.

United only just doing the business against Bournemouth (who are far enough up the table anyway) with a certain amount of help from the man in black.

Far enough up the table, but if we beat Watford, we’ll go above them, and will be one point behind ‘The Cherries’.

Does Wenger leaving improve the chances of Arsenal playing well? Mate of mine supports WetSpam and he's gutted! Their last game is v Huddersfield...

I doubt it. The league is irrelevant to the players for this season. They've got that European trophy to go for, while worrying about staying fit for the World Cup. Why should they raise their game when many of them will be ‘out’ in the summer?

If Arsenal go out of Europe to Atletico, I see one final massive push 'thank you' run where they destroy all in front of them in the league.

I certainly can't see Arsenal losing his last game in charge.

The 'Picture' can change after every game so late into the season.

I think that Huddersfield could get 36-38 pts, Swansea 37-39, Brighton 37-38 and W.Ham 39-40, Southampton 33-36.Stoke in bigger problem, might only get 30-32 pts.
