I think a lot of the Parish love brigade are missing the point, The majority of the anti Parish people on here who are frustrated with the repeated mistakes at the highest level have a genuine wish for our club to succeed at this level and frustratingly see no improvement in where we are season after season. Where Parish is concerned I think the majority of us rank his performance over the past few years as similar to Jordan Mutch on the field, And I don't see anyone here moaning about leave of stick Mutch gets on here for his underperformance. I am sure he is doing his best, But to be honest if the Cap fits (in Parish's case) wear it. For some reason he is living in the past and relying on the history of promotion under his leadership, He has been in charge for some dreadful management and transfer deals, And as the saying goes you are only as good as your last job, He needs to realise his shortcomings and get help from someone who actually knows the ins and outs of football, Its probably a disadvantage being a supporter as it must be so tempting to want to get involved. Season after season? Like 2010-2011, 2011-2012, 2012-2013 etc etc? Might be worth another look. Been a tricky couple of years but we have...wait for this...NEVER IN OUR ENTIRE HISTORY SUSTAINED TOP LEVEL STATUS THIS LONG. So aside from whether it's Parish in charge or not, what does that tell you about what it's like for our club to remain at the top level? Why does defining something as a mistake mean that an alternative would definitely achieve a better result? Maybe all the available choices are mistakes? Maybe the actual choices you are calling mistakes actually end up giving us the best possible outcome? What if the best possible outcome is still not "good enough" for some people? It's so odd to see what is thankfully a minority so certain that their alternative opinion (not that it's always offered for scruitny) would achieve better results. When you consider relegation will cost those in charge north of £80million, a large amount of the rubbish being thrown about is beyond nonsensical. I'm not sure what I think about some aspects of what has been going on, I don't think it's helpful to put each other in groups able label each other "lovers" or "haters of anything. You end up having to sound most of a debate defending an assumed point of view that you never had in the first place.

Forget all that, funny as it may be. Employ someone who knows more than he does about football. Even if it's advice and SP makes the final call, it's better than the recent repeated cluster fvcking. Hopefully bringing in DF is the aim of that appointment.

Great, so we're all Parish lovers or Parish haters now? The reason I'm currently irritated at Parish is because he's not behaving like... Parish. I've always thought he was a good, sensible chairman, but it's all looking a bit manic lately.

Everyone had to be 100% pro or anti Brexit and there was nothing in between.

Emotionally yes, financially ...NO. As such anyone willing to put their own money into running it, has a far greater say (rightly so) as to what goes on. Not those that sit at their keyboards, stuffing their faces in their underwear....demanding answers! If I could afford the Club I would buy the Club from these nitwits. The American Investors Josh Harris and David Blitzer are Incompetent look no further then they own the NBA franchise Philadelphia 76ers and have run that franchise into the ground. They also own the NHL franchise New Jersey Devils and have run that franchise into the ground. In fact interesting story about Harris and Blitzer and the New Jersey Devils in December 2014 they fired Head Coach Peter deBoer and proceeded to hire NOT one but ALL 3 assistant coaches as co-head coaches. Needless to say that went over like a fart in church. That's the incompetence I'm talking about. The other funny part of the story is Peter deBoer was hired by the San Jose Sharks and has made a Stanley Cup finals with the Sharks and has made the playoffs every year since his firing by Harris and Blitzer. Now back to the other culprit in this SH**SHOW Saint Steve (genuflect when you say that) hires a Manager than proceeds to SH*T allover him. Not to mention doesn't back him or the squad that he owns in the Summer Transfer Window only to sack said Manager after 4 Matches of the most unlucky football in the history of the world. Benteke hits the sitter we Draw at Anfield. Turf Moor we have 23 shots on goal, 23 shots on goal. Not to mention we have the SH***EST Goalkeeper in the Premier League right now. Buy my math that equals 4 points at least maybe 5 points with Draw at home against Swansea. So when I say IT WAS WORKING under Frank de Boer I mean IT WAS WORKIG. All Frank de Boer needed for this to work was a Right Back, Striker, and Goalkeeper in the Summer Transfer. Did that happern NOOO. As a Chairman back the Manager you hired until your gut cave in. Did ANYONE see that from Saint Steve (genuflect when you say that)??? No he just runs and hides and makes excuses like a B**ch. Lastly don't ever make insinuations about me. You know nothing about me. I love Crystal Palace it's deeply ingrained as part of who and what I am. I'm aware I haven't been a Fan as long as some people but don't anyone ever question my love, devotion, or loyalty to this Club.
