Any Sakho deal was "Dead in the water" some time ago.

The Sahko deal does seem dead. I'm happy with the deal for the two Dutch players. They seem better value for money although they are a bit more of a risk as we know Sahko would have fitted in well. Hopefully no body will pay Liverpool the price they are trying to extort and he'll be available in January for much less.

Even I'm going to say the Sakho deal is now dead if we sign both JR and Bruno then that's the LCB position closed out. If Bruno falls through then maybe it's still open but I now very much expect Sakho deal won't be happening.

I imagine it wasn't what Liverpool was expecting... they maybe left with a player they wanted to move on. Can't see many clubs stumping up that sort of cash... top 6 sides probably wouldn't be interested as he wouldn't take well to siting on the bench.

Ake 20m Keane 30m Walker 50m Sakho must be worth 20/30m we may not be able to pay that but someone will. Sakho can stay if Liverpool want him off the payrole they may have to let him go for the lower end or loan him out that gives us a shout.

Southampton are probably the most likely with Van Dyke moving the other way

What we are seeing with the recent transfer market is the continuing financial absurdities of the Premiership. The market determines something's worth.....However, this is a market of madness.

Totally agree. It's all going to come crashing down soon. We just need the first big club to go arse up with debts and we'll have a domino effect with others tumbling after. Let's stay realistic and avoid being part of the soccer apocalypse.

Let's stay realistic and avoid being part of the soccer apocalypse. That would only happen if a club was relegated with unsustainable commitments and it would make no difference to other clubs. The majority of PL clubs actually make a profit, and the few that didn't have either been relegated or can comfortably afford their loses: Anyway, perhaps we should avoid giving opinions on unsustainable debt, as we've been guilty twice?
