I thought it was some sort of tongue in cheek spoof, actually; I didn't realise we had folk who were deluded enough to think they know more about making Palace tick than Mr Palace himself does. Perhaps some of these people should think about going to the south coast somewhere for their football.

Can someone delete this thread, please? Or at least stop adding to it*. It's embarrassing. *Oops I'm the OP and even I would delete this thread lol. I was meant as a bit reaction thread to our manager merry go round, nothing more. I got a yellow card for almost the 3rd post so it did get a bit offensive, although someone said worse to me and the mods ignored it because they're all bias.

As much as I disagree with it I don't believe deleting or locking this thread is the right thing to do. Mind you, if it does get abusive then it will go. That's a bit unfair Mr B as if this thread gets abusive it's the abusers that should go and not the thread itself

The Mods are good fella. They do take into account history I am sure. Maybe you had fewer Brownie Points than the person who was offensive to you.

It always makes me smile to see fans here who think parish is beyond any reproach. He was instrumental in saving this football club from the abyss, and this cannot be forgotten ever, but it doesn't give the guy a blank cheque to do anything without people engaging in what this entire site is supposed to be about - debate of his actions and anyone else holding the keys to this club's success. Why could pulis have long and successful relationships with other chairman but not parish? I get he is a massive tool and a total liar but why did that side of him not come out at stoke? Why did allardyce out of the blue, decide to end his entire career? Who else would have hired warlock? Who else would have not fired Holloway, the guy had to beg to leave the club. Something fishy is going on with parish and his relationships with managers, and is anyone aware that this might mean managing our club is becoming less and less attractive? Now we are more than 3 weeks since SA left and still no manager. Transfers are happening at other clubs and we are on hold. This is unsettling certain players too no doubt and its just schoolboy stuff to take this long to hire a manager. Do other clubs take 3 weeks plus to make a hire?

Of course you raise perfect points - but it's like a religious cult in here with Parish. He can do no wrong. I like everyone else at CPFC am very glad and appreciative SP's our dedicated owner, but that doesn't mean he's perfect. Allardyce was obviously not enjoying his management tenure under Parish and if Parish had a healthy and close relationship with him he'd have known about his feelings and not be caught blind-sided. Same with TP, he's been ok with a host of other clubs but on here he is an evil c@nt that wickedly left us in the lurch - I don't agree with that simplistic assessment. Why did TP feel so angry as to do that? Just because he couldn't contain the inherent evil in his heart? Or because Parish was P1SSING HIM OFF?

whoa guys, I hope you're not questioning God Emperor Parish! The Palace Police will be on your case sharpish... for what it's worth he's been great for CPFC but he does make mistakes (imo Parish Points is/was a disgrace as is charging £45 or so for Watford/Leicester) and it helps no one when the holier than thou try and shush anyone pointing it out. This process of replacing SA seems to have been going ok for now but I think if he doesn't appoint very soon then fans will be well within their rights to criticise him especially when our rivals start signing players. Not long until the players are back either. Get it done so Palace can crack on with evolving as a club under a more progressive manager and get our targets in
