Even I with my limited intelligence understands what this means.

Clattenburg happened to get involved in a situation not of his making and I would argue this point if it was any other referee. And I repeat - referees and managers paths do happen to cross before games but not intentionally.

Just waiting for the comments on HOL "Clattenburg's decision making was influenced by Ferguson " Dear oh dear.Mountains and molehills spring to mind.

Anyway, off on the 'Campaign Trail' now !

Whether or not his decisions were influenced by that plum faced old goose his decisions were still s*ite and he had a 'mare (another one).

Irrespective of his poor decision making, the Fergie thing was poor judgement from 'Mark' at best and I'd agree with many posters on here as calling it unprofessional. The guy is a joke.

He's a terrible ref and the sooner he goes to Saudi Arabia the better. Good riddance to bad rubbish.

The situation was of his making because being a professional referee he should have known fine well that he ought to have been keeping his distance from the players and their entourages.

Rumours are the Saudi deal is off. Reportedly just signed a deal with an ex-Premier League manager. 'Mark' wanted to turn it down but didn't want to appear rude.

and he still hasnt answered the question everyone wants to know the answer to...In his opinion Did Madeley make several game changing errors in Saturdays match, not, do referees occasionally make "honest mistakes" but did Saturdays referee make mistakes (honest or otherwise)? Clattenberg has already admitted to errors in the cup final, but Willo for some weird reason refuses to even admit that! He says he is a Palace fan but there must be some doubt as to the veracity of that statement in view of his stance on referees performances (or lack of)
Now hes out campaigning for the Tories, no doubt after Mrs May asked him to..

I thought "squarely in the chimps" was close to Shakespearean.

We don't do possession; we do defense and attack. Everything else is just wa**ing with a football.

You really have to give the guy credit, he plays the part absolutely perfectly. I actually quite enjoy seeing people get riled up by him. Its so clearly someone playing a character its unreal yet people still seem to get upset and argue rather than just completely ignoring him which is the only thing that would actually work. The only thing I'm undecided on is whether he's actually a Palace fan.

Because it is darling Mark. The one who has now chased the Saudi dollar, in the words of Kevin Keegan "I would love it" if allegations are now published (with proof) I am sure Willo would still find an excuse for him.

Don't forget that he got into trouble for hiring an agent - because of potential conflicts of interest - and he's previously been suspended for violating the rules intended to ensure that there is no appearance of conflict of interest, at least twice by my recollection.

One of those prior occasions involved Palace, West Brom, and the breaking of Julian Speroni's face.

For someone as professional and unimpeachable as Clattenberg, he seems to step in piles of conflict of interest on an alarmingly regular basis. Especially, for some reason, when it comes to reffing Palace games.

He got banned on the BBS for doing the same thing.

Eh ?

I got banned from the BBS ? News to me.

If you are inferring that I am TROLLEY, then I am pretty sure I saw him posting in an 'Obituary' thread not that long ago - never read each and ever post so never read his mutterings.

Anyway, this thread has been seriously de-railed so let's stop all this hogwash but me being some invented 'Character' and return to the subject under discussion.Surely this is NOT too much to ask.Thank You.

Yeah its abundantly clear that they are the same person, it was proven without doubt not so long ago on another thread.

I just think its really impressive that he is able to keep the guise up of the bumbling, referee loving, random punctuation mark, Tory old boy and so many people still get irate about it.

I have answered all these 'Charges' many times before.
I really don't feel I need to refute them over and over and over again.

So I'm NOT going to respond to any further allegations.

Now let's get this thread back on-track and not have it de-raied by hackneyed accusations.
