Well technically on a long enough scale, all mutations end in failure....

If you accept that aliens have visited then you have to at least entertain the ancient alien theory.

I'm 95% sure the phenomenon is real based on what I nave seen and heard. Ancient aliens? Can't say. The ruins of Puma Punku are very interesting as are the carved groves on Malta. It's also difficult to imagine how primitive men moved all those peaks at Nazca without equipment and dynamite.

Ancient Aliens is funny since it tries to relate just about everything to aliens. I like the guy who only appears to say.. 'and you have to wonder, was it extra terrestrials'?

What about ancient alien ants? They already have a farm...

You have to wonder, was it extra-terrestrials? No, no I don't because it wasn't. Its right down there on this list of things I don't have to wonder about, thanks to understanding the principle of Occam's Razor.

Could it be that Ancient Aliens falls into the principle of Occam's Razor? Some Ancient Alien theorists say YES!

Well at least you never see Scientology Extremists blowing up pop concerts. Makes you think we could all learn a thing or two from them.

You have to wonder, how do people like this manage to earn a living out of spurious nonsense. Is it because they're their least spurious nonsense talking head, in that compared to many they can err on the side of almost plausible, on a scale that descends to mentally ill.

Like an inversion of the value of knowledge, where the more spurious you are, the lower your capacity to get TV appearances.

You know why it wasn't aliens? Because you'd think if they'd flew across the gulf of space in interseller space craft, they'd probably not use local stone masonary techniques to build things.... Sure the pyramids are impressive in their design and construction, but not 'solved the problem of travelling across space' kind of impressive....

They're not really even 19th century impressive...

Others said they'd taken their medication, and we're feeling much better and were having second thoughts about the aliens...

To busy making sh8t films and fleecing their followers. Scientology is a proper capitalist religion, its all about making money.

A bit like how the Occult is really about dressing up, getting high and justifying group sex.
