A lot more optimistic than I was but still have to play the entire top 6. Such a far cry from the unorganised and sometimes farcical dross we played under pardew though. We're FINALLY looking like a team and I must say a pretty good one as well!
We're the Arthur over ere! |

I do feel sorry for Benteke, he is so isolated on his own, that said it seems to be working and he is getting much better at giving the team an out ball. Cabaye was absolutely class today, ran all game and the assist for Zaha was sexy. Milejovovic was great but his distribution was a little off today but he reads the game so well and was attempting all the right things. Sakho is a monster I hope PVA is okay he is great with Wilf, actually makes him so effective out on the left as they have a great understanding of each other. We need a new RB, Ward was crap again. What a great team performance though.

Remember clapping the players during their lap of honour after the Ipswich game all those years ago. A week later and we were down. Plenty of twists and turns yet. A few weeks ago and Swansea looked down and out. That said I hope your right :-)

I'm not convinced by Hennessey. It's not like he had much to do today, is it? And is he capable of pulling of saves like Foster's on a regular basis? We haven't seen much evidence of it over the last year or so. It makes no odds what you think he is SAMS NUMBER ONE .

Another fantastic performance from team and backroom staff. They've really got this squad together and playing. Inspired stuff. Loved Sam losing his rag at a palace player in last 5 minutes, exactly what Pardew didnt do, demand total defensive focus at all times. Sakho immense yet again, PVA quality, always offering himself as an attacking option, Schlupp solid. Brilliant assist and goal from Cabaye and Zaha, and Townsend's full length run and finish to top it all off. Wonderful stuff!!! Have a great evening on the back of that chaps!
