Having said that I am softening toward him as with a full squad I really dont think we would be where we are in the league, Possibly mid-table but definately much higher than we are I can’t see how you blame him. He employs Alexander to complete deals, Freeman, Coe and Hodgson to find players required, that’s their job. He just happens to be the Chairman, if you think he does everything himself, you are very misguided. Edited by Medway Eagle (04 Mar 2018 11.24pm)

In all honesty no-one outside the club knows the responsibilities of the individuals that you've mentioned and I doubt that "completing deals" is part of Phil Alexander's job description

When you come out of successive windows without specialist cover then something's wrong and only the boss can really solve issues once and for all.

I love this club so much and I fear if we go down we may not recover for some time A bit melodramatic perhaps? We've been relegated a record number of times and gone through a few administrations and we're still here. Also I question the actual value of being in the premier league when most of the money goes to players and agents. Don't get me wrong I don't want us to be relegated, just want a bit of perspective.

Being in the premier league gives you more financial ability to improve stadium and important and necessary behind the scenes matters that if you don't have you're at a disadvantage in the prem or championship. You can also grow the fanbase.

If it could, we'd produce better players in the long run, and therefore wouldn't have to pay as high wages etc on demand players. Southampton are/were a bit like that but I'm not gonna get into an argument about the black box!

AWB has shown he’s got the potential but we won’t be paying him TFM type wages for a good while. And of course there’s no transfer fee. But most importantly he’s one OUR own. I would hope that Roy has the guts, and a chance, to give our youth a bit more of a go.
