We are an average Premier team. The problem with the defence is Mandanda, he is no better than Hennesey, in fact he not very good. Also having Dann injured doesn't help.

Thought first half most of the team, with the exception of Townsend who since England call up has looked ineffective, did pretty well. Should have defended first goal better and momentum then shifted. Not sure why DD is always the scapegoat with fans on here. I think it's just their default position. Tomkins has certainly pulled up no trees since his arrival , but receives little criticism! Interesting to see Cabaye contributing more going forward, but seemed to run out of steam after about 30 mins and then showed in patches. MoM = Wilf who was out on his feet at the end, but still took them on relentlessly and had the assist for the goal. Have always been a big fan of DD, but I'm sorry, we need better. Ward at least needs competition and if a run for Fryers proves ineffective desperatley need a fast left back. Edited by Dangermouse (23 Oct 2016 12.46pm)

As I have mentioned before,at this point I cannot see Mandanda being an improvement on Hennessey. Regards the game yesterday, we have to remember that Leicester are not Champions for nothing and are now undefeated in 20 Home games.First goal is always important and it was a bit of a shocker from a defensive standpoint.

Sorry if I upset people on here but I fear DD has had his day, the clearance for their 2nd goal should have gone out for a corner and Ward was asleep instead of tracking Osasaki. For those criticising Mandanda, I don't believe it, he will turn out to be one of the greatest goalkeepers we have had....depending on the defence in front of him!!

How long have we got to wait, he has been far from impressive so far. I cannot think of a top class save he has made, but I have seen him stationary as the ball flies past him into the net with him making no effort at all.

We need to spend wisely in next window, Souare injury has had a worse effect than I imagined, although Kelly gives everything and more he isn't quick enough or good enough, DD is great in the air but awful on the deck and slow, in centre mid we are being overrun badly , again I admire ledleys effort but no way near up to it. We need pace in these areas and more quality. I think mandanda is a great keeper and wasn't at fault for the goals !

Mandanda needs to be given a break. I can't say I have seen anything outstanding but I haven't seen anything bad ether. A couple of goals where arguably if it had been Hennessey he'd have been slated on here but no clangers. Though yesterday came close. I think Mandanda has on the whole settled well. Foreign keepers often take time to settle, look at DeGea he looked ropey at times. Delaney is at last knockings but not as bad as many on here make out though I think he will be benched from next week. We are an average PL team, which is an achievement in itself. Whilst we want to continue to improve, that improvement will not be linear, it is impossible. We are still 11th, 4 Pts off Europe and not at full strength. Chin up

This is a page for our opinions, well this mine. We need to consider the mid field/ Against Lecister they were mostly ineffective and this cost us the game. I think we should buy a reight back. What about Ward? Well I think we should play him in a midfield 3 with Puncheon and possibly Remy when he gets fit. We can play 4 3 3 . Get Dan back into the defence 4 and keep Ledley McCarthur and Cabaye on the bench. We've got to stop the opposition running through our midfield and move more bals forward to Zaha, Townsend and Benteche. What do you think

Heard an interview with AP recently where he said in training they are concentrating more on technique and keeping the ball. I wonder wether this has meant a reduction in stamina training and that is why we struggle to maintain form for the 90 mins.

We all see the game differently (funny game football ;-) My despair yesterday was the defence - I thought we defended poorly as a team, even Benteke didn't hold it up well enough up front putting the defence under pressure when he lost it? The defence has to be strong in this division and yesterday we weren't. We could have scored a few as well with the chances we had, but when they don't go in we need the defending to be better or like yesterday we will let in goals? For me we need two replacements at the back in the middle and left back. Can't see Tomkins being good enough as the replacement for Delaney alongside Dann? Perhaps I will be proved wrong. I hope so!
