Really? It wasn't until the last 15 minutes that Boro looked like scoring. We managed the game fairly well I thought.

Sorry but we did not have control of the game at any point after we scored. I am delighted with the win but we held on when we had an excellent opportunity to manage the game as you say. Hard to manage the game without the ball.

I really hate negative posts when we've won but I've just watched that with my Dad and we were both saying the same thing.

Some of that I think might be down to Boro stepping it up and us having to absorb pressure. Still, seen it out, 2-1, 3 points, away win with a few injuries affecting the depth of the bench.

Very very happy with the 3 points, but that was far more seat of the trousers than it needed to be if we'd shown some composure on the ball.

What a downer! We played well, had some luck at last, and were worth the three points.

I don't see how putting across my point is a downer. Just saying it as I saw it. Apart from Wilf's goal which was fantastic, when did we have any sustained pressure in the second half ?

Great win, just what we needed. For those saying we didn't manage the game, the players know just as well as us that our form has been pretty bad for this calendar year. As soon as we scored both goals you could sense the team were thinking "let's not throw this away" once that happens the game and plan drifts as there is an element of panic. We need a few results before this goes away but it will. I'll take the 3 points and well done lads and well done Pardew.
