Stripped of his England caps

What a bizarre and wholly non sanction.

I always forget he played for England, and was once referred to as the 'future of English football'. That said, I don't think its really acceptable or responsible to try to edit the past, due to actions committed now.

Obviously everyone hates a nonce, but unless there is more to come out, its hardly Jimmy Savile.

What would you do if this happened to yours?
Deny all your love and close all the doors?
Do you honestly think I’d sink to a level
And just turn my back and deem him a devil?
“That woman” you point at, yes it is me
I was born with a name, as I’m human you see!
I’m innocent! just in case you forgot
And will love him whether you like it or not!
I’ve had the abuse, the comments and more
It’s nothing I haven’t heard all before
I mean no offense when I say this to you
but Adams my brother and this is what i must do!’

Also, in my book, this 'poem' also should result in a five year, no parole sentence, for being completely s**t. Yours and Doors, level and devil, f**k me is it the 13th century...

Oh yeah, its Sunderland, so it probably is the 13th century.

Unlike South London which is the UK's centre for cultural excellence

Did he sleep with her or was it just a finger?

Glad he's in prison but 6 years? Is that because if sho he is? I only ask as rapists usually don't even get that long do they?

Not defending him at all!!! He's a dirty c*** and deserves everything that's coming to him inside.

Oddly, Croydon was once it was popular with people like DH Lawrence, Arthur Conan Doyle who moved to live there, as did Emile Zola. John Ruskin loved Croydon and Samuel Taylor Coleridge spent most of his adult life there (actually in Selhurst).

Granted now days its Adele and rappers, but once upon a time, South London was home to cultural giants....

Then again the Pre-Raphelite movement grew out of Hastings.

When you look at what Rolf and that lot did and what they initially got sentenced to, it shows that old age is the best thing for a lenient sentence.

Did it really need about a dozen police to get him from a car to a court?

Anyone want to buy a cheap Range Rover too?

The benefit of 'back in the day' when sex offences weren't treated as seriously as they are now. When you get tried for an offence, its usually on the law of the time the offence was committed and sentenced according to the sentences of the times.

Likely had those offences been committed now, they'd have been looking at a lot longer than the few years they got.

I think generally the police are there to ensure he gets into court, rather than displayed from a lamp post by the crowd.

The judge probably added a year on after he threw his shirt into the gallery.

That weather map bloke abused two kids while he was a teacher, and got a year less than Adam Johnson has.

That they happened a while ago, or that the perp is now older, shouldn't matter.
