And as I have told you before, change IS constant and will continue to be, some people will come to Britain and some others will leave, birth rate will rise and fall over time. I haven't seen you demonstrate anything in particular, except that you don't want to accept that you may be wrong. It is quite possible, if not probable, that Africa, Asia and other so-called third world areas will become self-sufficient over the next 20-50 years. Africa and Asia and South America have plenty of natural resources. They will also have a young workforce who will become better educated and dynamic, while Europe's population will be ageing and a drag on economic performance. Europe (and the US) will no longer seen as the land of milk and honey, so your grandchildren should have no such worries, other than how to look after you and the rest of your ageing generation. You do not seem to understand that "change" meaning over hundreds of years is not equatable to a change over 10 years. If you had read one of the links I posted you would understand that the majority of Britons are related to settlers arriving thousands of years ago. You inability or reluctance to accept this scientific fact suggests that you place your ideology above reality. An all to common attitude these days. As for the third world becoming self sufficient. This something they have failed to do up till now despite having huge natural resources. This will not happen for centuries if ever IMO.

Indeed. The majority of anything with real value in what's currently the "Third World" has already been bought, stolen or contracted out by multi-nationals.
Well I think Simon's head is large; always involved in espionage. (Name that tune) |

And in terms of differences of cultures, to a Britain suffering Saxon invaders, the degree of culture shock may have seemed as different to them as Polish or eastern Europeans seem to you, perhaps. Hundreds and thousands of years ago there were only a few million. Now there's 60 million. If it is so hard to grasp, think about a social occasion or gathering with only so much space or numbers allowed or you can afford. When you first start writing out the guest list it's easy, you just want to invite everyone, only you then realise you've gone over the maximum allowed and have to start crossing people off. Or you can hire somewhere, unless you can't afford it and therefore just accept you cannot do/have everything you want.

This is more down to the IMF and OECD than multinationals. In fact austerity measures as a tool for taking public assets and putting them into private ownership can be traced back to the Bretton Woods conference in July 1944. Shocking really.

Funnily enough, the world population has increased over the last thousand years too; if you find it so hard to grasp, please try to understand that Britain doesn't exist in a vacuum, we are all living in a world with smaller spaces, it's not just the UK where space will be at a premium! You haven't even understood what the problem is, let alone the solution!!

Nearly as shocking as your "look at me" white person problems thread on the BBS.
