So, is it over? Does anyone give a shyte? Have the kids across the pond yet again tried to invade somehere, say like the Channel Islands, & yet again failed. More important things to worry about, ie; the UK.
This operation, will make the 'Charge Of The Light Brigade' seem like a simple military exercise. |

Edited by Stirlingsays (19 Nov 2020 4.39pm) Or ourselves [Link] As most of us on here can do self deprecating humour we’ll find the start of this pretty funny. Unfortunately it starts to get a bit too serious and being a victim comes into play. It stays serious but gets funny at the end again. I even like the excessively liberal ‘The Last Leg’ on channel 4. The 2 on the sofa, not the host. They’ve even had Geoff Norcott on. Just don’t like the Anna Soubhry and Emily Thornberry type guests.

Not true, now is it! You have your moments at confrontation although I assume you don’t see as that. I have my moments it's true but normally when provoked. I don't go looking for it though by making deliberately contentious comments. Although maybe you don't think them contentious given the way this board leans so heavily to the right. In any half normal company they would though.
For the avoidance of doubt any comments in response to a previous post are directed to its ideas and not at any, or all, posters personally. |

Good comedy...or shall I say real comedy doesn't care who it upsets because it needs freedom. It's that word freedom and good comedy can come from left, right or anywhere. TV comedy though is restricted and funneled and has been for a good many years. I don't watch much live TV anymore so I'll take your word for it that this 'last leg' is alright. I've seen Norcott do comedy....he's ok....the BBC's idea of a conservative. Edited by Stirlingsays (19 Nov 2020 6.06pm)

Unless of course any opinion that you do not agree with is confrontational. How many times do you tell posters they are lying or posting untruths, have yo ever admitted you may be wrong? How many times have you criticised those that supported Brexit, is that not confrontational?

Back to the topic at hand. Trump got his ass kicked. He is a loser. Like all babies and bullies he cannot accept that he got his ass kicked, so he is sending out the biggest dummy on his team, Rudy, to launch some absolute horses*** legal challenges. All because he cannot admit that he was convincingly and resoundingly rejected by the American electorate. Georgia went blue for the first time since 1992 and Bill Clinton. It is an epic loss. I for one am truly glad that his racist, xenophobic crap has been exposed for what it is, the position of a stupid minority of mostly white idiots. Back into the shadows they will now crawl, in Joe Biden's and Kamala Harris' America. Hallelujah, the s*** show will soon be over.
Trump lost. Badly. Hahahahahahaha. |

You’ve mentioned none of this over the past few years. What changed your mind?

How many times have you criticised those that supported Brexit, is that not confrontational? I think you are imagining things! Respectful disagreements are always OK and it's rare for me to accuse anyone of lying. I often disagree with opinions and will point out why but lying is a deliberate act whilst just being wrong, in my opinion, isn't. I often admit being wrong. I'm married. It's necessary. Of course I criticise those who support Brexit. Half the country does that. Just not too many in this place. I also oppose Trump and all he represents and I am certain that many more than half of the UK does too, but again not here. So it's hardly confrontational to support the majority opinion especially when you are passionate about it. It's this place which confronts normality.
