May has form on making u-turns. The idea that she Strong and Stable is a joke.

Corbyn has also performed U-Turns. No modern politician is great. Yet a good politician has the backing from their parties.

Trident - Wanted to scrap Trident at his Party conference. Then dropped the subject from the agenda altogether.

EU - Was in favour of leaving the EU. A month later reversed that statement.

Privy Council - Advised he was not invited. Then said he would attend but not kneel to the Queen.

Welfare - Vowed to scrap the Tory Benefit freeze. Announced scrapping the bedroom tax, cuts to housing benefit for U21s, no mention of Benefit freeze

Agreed, not as huge as May. But he's not been PM.

What was the quarter that wasn't truth in BTH's post then?

Dodging again. Why can you not answer direct and simple questions, Michael?

You get to write a sentence but I'd have to write tons on all the spin he wrote. Maybe if I feel like it later.

I totally disagree. Dementia will soon be the biggest cause of death so it needs particular attention.
I don't agree that people with more money should pay more toward their health care. Why? As long as those that cannot pay are helped then that is sufficient.

This system will ensure that people have help when needed and not have to give up their home. It is a brave proposal which effects traditional Tory voters and one that acknowledges that tough medicine is needed to avoid a total breakdown of care for the infirm.

There's actually some evidence that Dementia is likely to drop over the coming years as a result of improved living standards and preventative care...coupled with improving medication and research.

This interview with Andrew Neil is an absolute car crash. No wonder she won't debate, hasn't answered 1 single question.

From what I saw it wasn't great at all. In some ways i bet she'll be thankful for last nights atrocities taking the focus away for 24hrs

I never suggested that.

OK so if it's a flat rate it's a regressive tax. So it's unfair in other words.

It's a really poor idea.

Only another 2.5 weeks to go, I hope everyone registered!

I am very much looking forward to getting this election done with and complete good Brexit talks (Hopefully). Then we can all return to normal life, and not pretend to be expert politicians (Myself included).

Not forgetting there will be 3 months fewer of the 24 we had for negotiations. Hooray.

But while it is still a major problem, it will need funding.
