Well, doing a little research including Hansard I can't say James, nor Darren, appear particularly reliable in what they say. Please let me know from where this originates, presumably either a senior EU official of someone from the UK armed forces. Right at the moment this looks seriously suspect. I'm not saying you are gullible of course. Edited by Mapletree (09 Sep 2019 12.26pm) Here we go

Yes, this is as predicted by Edward Heath and recommended by him in 1971 Please show me where it says the Army would swear allegiance to the EU, I can't find that particular line.

It may have been a good idea to read your link before posting it. Clearly it is based on an alliance, and indeed states the deployment of troops into harm’s way “remains the ultimate sovereign decision of a national government” And it isn't AGAINST the US, it states: The French president said that Europeans can no longer rely on the US to defend them in response to President Donald Trump’s decision to pull out of a landmark 1987 nuclear treaty with Russia that effectively protects Europe from nuclear weapons. It also says this is a complement to NATO.

Very professional! He wasn't even a good, let alone professional, bullsh*tter. He cannot even disguise his "I hope for an election" give away" proposals as anything other than attempted bribes. This team are a joke.

They are credited with being a key driver of the financial crisis. As a 'professional' presumably he knew the risks he was taking on behalf of the less professional people to whom he sold. He is also reputed to be involved in the Dark Blue tax avoidance scheme, so at least he knows all about that. Our future is in the hands of someone with excellent judgement then.
