For clarity and excuse the typos, I was highlighting the hypocrisy of people who loudly promote something that they themselves do not adhere to. The idea of dismissing everyone because of this would be silly, wouldn't it? Is everyone in the world who wants change a hypocrite? And what evidence do we have that climate changers shout out but still do all the things they say are wrong? Even if some might, does that mean we can just dismiss all out of hand? Then we hear from Mr Stirlingsays that the only reason people protest to make their voice heard is because they want to feel better about themselves or or to virtue signal. I mean, what an attitude, eh? Dismissing everyone in one fell swoop. Really.

You think someone retiring in the sunshine, perhaps in their 80"s , wants to leave every 3 months to come back to blighty in the cold, perhaps with nowhere to stay- only to return back to the sun 90 days later? And repeat every 90 days? Do me a favour HK, I find it a pain going to the airport once or twice a year at my age, that"s why its such an imposition! There is a retirement visa which circumvents this requirement.

You can apply for residency to avoid the 90 day rule. My understanding is that many of the ex pats complaining about these post Brexit rules are actually benefit dodgers. They were given plenty of time to request residency status in Spain so why didn't they? Because unofficially they were living in Spain whilst claiming benefits in the UK. However now that the Spanish have tightened up the rules these people have to make a choice where they actually live. As for the rules I think it shocking that the Spanish are saying if you want to live in our country you need to support yourself and don't expect to ponce off the Spanish taxpayer.

It isn't a deep dive comment so I understand why you typed it but to be fair to me I've made the point quite often that other than those 'feminine/virtue signalling' emotion led types you have the ideologically blinded and the ignorant (go along to get along)....and a percent who ideologically support whatever position opposes the assumed preferences of the host majority (minority interests or the self hating Guardian reader meme). Many supporters of movements who have worsened social outcomes They have little interest in actually investigating the outcoming statistics and those that do just make excuses for them or blame whitey (while ignoring that whitey was supposed to have been worse in the past). My father was from Belfast, so yet again your commentary displays its rather poor ability to hit the dartboard. Still, it does rather hit the Irish comedy stereotype.

And here was me thinking you were from the british tradition- you will have the tri-colour next to your name next! But on a serious note, we don"t want overt racism slipping in to this threse threads on the H.O.L, one word, turns into a sentence, paragraph, chapter, and whole book! Better to nip these things in the bud, so to speak!

So no more comments about being on the Bru, Scotsmen wearing skirts or fried Mars bars then? Yes, I was expecting you to come back with this Teddy and I wasn"t wrong! The Irish issue is a slightly different kettle of fish, it has the capacity to stir up real hate- I could have replied to Stirlings "thick paddy" innuendo- I doubt the people working in m15/6 at vauxhalls state of the art building thought they were thick when a surface to air rocket came through the wall, fired from the railway embankment, or maggie thought they were thick when her bathroom came down in a fortified hotel during conference, or indeed downing street when a mortar launched from whitehall fell just short of the roof into the garden, nobody caught on the first and third examples- right in the centre of the most cctv city in the world! But alas I didn"t, why stir up old history- but as I said, those examples put to bed the thick paddy stereotype, as well as the Irish having one of or the best education systems in the world! But i digress, If people treat me with respect I return the respect, If i feel someones puling my chain I act thus, but i"m not to bothered about posting here nowdays, but will try not to antagonise anyone when I do, lifes to short!
