Now I know this is all in the press so nothing new but I’m being told yes I know what you will all say but I am being told tonight that providing no hitches we will have a new manager hopefully within 48hrs. That man is Lucien Favre 3 year contract talks are progressing but all is going well & SP is very confident we have our man. Only passing what I have been told, may be rubbish but just passing on the info.

I once spent a day at Channel 4 Racing about 20 years ago, and after listening to all the name dropping about who said what about which horse it became clear quite quickly that the closer you are to the source of info the more likely you are to be told a load of b*ll*x - once we thought it was Nuno your 'source' told you there was a press statement for noon the next day. So with all respect I have to take your latest claim with a truck load of salt.

If we do get him, that would be some coup and a great appointment
