Labour still going downhill. They only managed a 13% increase in votes in retaining the Tooting council by-elections . A f***ing rubbish result. Corbyn out now.

Not exactly sure the point you are trying to make with either of your previous posts? Or are you being sarcastic?

A few hundred people voting differently (and a turnout of twenty percent) hardly proves there is a huge pro-Corbyn movement. And the BBC "stunt" is just cringeworthy...

I think it is fair to say that despite very very poor polling and media perception (and indeed my own personal perception) that Jeremy Corbyn has to date not been a disaster in terms of actual electoral results. Every by-election and local election Labour have performed relatively well and often with increased vote %.

The local council elections were not good results, but were a long way off poor as well. The exception is probably the Holyrood elections, but the Labour were already being flogged in Tartan-town long before JC came along.

I still think he will lead to a collapse in both the Labour popular vote and the number of MPs come the next general election. But the non-opinion poll related data to date doesn't necessarily support that conclusion.

What are they going to do, keep stepping down in a very safe seat and triggering a by-election every other month so they can proclaim winning a vote?

They haven't done that well at all, when they should be murdering it as the opposition between general elections. If nick didn't spam this thread with so much s*** i'd point out where I informed nick of this previously, using his own link to denounce his assertion.

Owen Smith said this week that he would negotiate with ISIS, newsnight lead on something else. Now do you honestly believe that would have happened if Corbyn said it? The MSM would have been all over it.

The Victoria Derbyshire debate this week ended with undecided Labour voters choosing between the 2 candidates. Nearly all said Corbyn. Was this widely reported? no. In fact I only found this out myself through social media.

The coverage is skewed.

The Owen Smith "Negotiating with isis" was blown out of all proportion, he said this after being pushed on the issue. And aren't negotiations ultimately the way to find peace? It's never going to happen anyway, isis would never agree to talks.

Some "Undecided" voters decide they now want to support corbyn - why should that make the news anyway? In any case, no one questions the support that he has with its members, that was proven with the huge distance he won the leadership election. It's the fact he has very little support from its MPs...

And you say the coverage is skewed, presumably you mean by the main broadcasters (including the BBC, which I know has been criticised for its apparent anti-corbyn stance) then you quote directly from two BBC sources that show support for Corbyn?!

Well I don't think the MSM and its bull s*** eaters would have seen it that way if Labour lost. The fact is the most unelectable man in the universe has an ok record at elections.

He is standing up against a neoliberal economic system that has been incredibly successful at making the wealthy more wealthy while making the lot of everyone else tougher. They (the wealthy) don't like it and since they own the MSM they will resist it with everything they have.

The bulls*** eaters gobble up the propaganda and spew it out as their own ideas. But they have nothing to say that isn't given to them by the MSN. Nothing at all.
